Rourkela :: Purushottam Institute of Engineering and Technology

In year 1999-2000 Purushottam Institute of Engineering and Technology Rourkela was started its academic year under the Purushottam Education & Welfare Trust. Puroshottam Education and Welfare is managed this institute. This institute is affiliated to the Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Utkal University and the conducted courses of this institute is approved by the All India Institute of Technical Education, (AICTE) New Delhi and recognized by the Govt. of Orissa. Institute offered theengineering courses at under graduate level or the management and computer application at post graduate level.

Puroshottam Education and Welfare Trust was established in year 1998. It is a  cohesive group of highly educated and enlightened persons from various socio-economic segments such as technocrats, Industrialists, practicing engineers, administrative, management personnel, social workers and esteemed senior citizens of the Steel City, Rourkela.
