The Indian Engineering College admits students from all over the world. They are admitted under Govt. / Mgmt / NRI quota. To take the admission in BE / B Tech / UG / Undergraduate courses candidate passed the 12th standard of Tamil Nadu H.S.C. (Academic) or an equivalent examination recognised by Anna University with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry
Government Quota Admission: Students are selected by the govt. through counselling.
Management Quota Admission: The students are admitted by the management based on their Higher. Secondary marks (+2) obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Maths.
B.Tech / B.E Courses: Admission is based on qualifying examination marks and as per rules and regulations of Anna University of Technology and as per the Government of Tamil Nadu norms through State Government Counselling(TNEA)and through regulated management seat procedures.

M.E. Courses : Candidate passed the B.E/ B.Tech./ MCA/ M.Sc. Degree in the relevant branch or any equivalent degree from a recognized university or Anna University of Technology
MBA Courses : Candidate should passed Bachelor / Master Degree from any recognized Educational Institution / University with 3 years duration and obtained at least 50 % marks. They should also have performed well in MAT/CAT Scores, Group discussions and Personal Interviews.
MCA Courses : Candidate pass in any degree with the condition that the candidate must have studied Core Mathematics either at +2 level or Mathematics / Statistics as one of the subjects at the degree level.
