Achaari Chana Pulao

अचारी चना पुलाव

Ingredients (सामग्री):

Split Bengal gram (चने की दाल) ---------- 1 cup

Basmati rice (बासमती चावल) ---------- 1 cup

Oil (तेल) ---------- 3 tablespoons 

Cinnamon (दालचीनी) ---------- 1 inch stick

Cloves (लौंग) ---------- 2-3

Black peppercorns (काली मिर्च) ---------- 2-3

Turmeric powder (हल्दी पाउडर) ---------- 1/4 smallspoon

Garam masala powder (गरम मसाला पाउडर) ---------- 1 smallspoon

Panch phoran (पांच मसाला पाउडर) ---------- 2 tablespoons

Chopped Onion (कटा हुआ प्याज) ---------- 1 medium

Chopped Ginger (कटा हुआ  अदरक) ---------- 1 smallspoon

Red chilli powder (लाल मिर्च पाउडर) ---------- 1/2 smallspoon

Salt (नमक) ---------- to taste

Lemon juice (नींबू का रस) ---------- 1 tablespoon

Chopped Fresh coriander (कटा ताजा हरा धनिया) ---------- 1 tablespoon

Pickle gravy (अचार ग्रेवी) ---------- 1 tablespoon

How to make Achaari Chana Pulao (अचारी चना पुलाव बनाने की विधि)

-> First clean the Basmati rice (बासमती चावल) and washed it with clean water and soaked it into water for 1 hours. You also soaked the Split Bengal gram (चने की दाल) into water for 1 hours. (चावल और चने की दाल धो कर पानी में भिगो कर रखे)

-> Heat the Oil (तेल) is a Pressure Cooker (प्रेशर कुकर). When Oil (तेल) became hot then add Cinnamon (दालचीनी) + Cloves (लौंग) + Black peppercorns (काली मिर्च) and fried it for 1 minute. After you add Panch phoran (पांच मसाला पाउडर) and mixed very well. (तेल + दालचीनी + लौंग + काली मिर्च को प्रेशर कुकर में फ्राई करे)

-> Now you add Chopped Onion (कटा हुआ प्याज) and fried it until it turn to golden brown in color. After you add Chopped Ginger (कटा हुआ  अदरक) + Red chilli powder (लाल मिर्च पाउडर) + Turmeric powder (हल्दी पाउडर) + Garam masala powder (गरम मसाला पाउडर) and mixed very well and cooked it for 30 second. (इसमें कटा हुआ प्याज + अदरक + लाल मिर्च पाउडर + हल्दी पाउडर + गरम मसाला पाउडर मिला कर पकाये)

-> Now you add the Pickle gravy (अचार ग्रेवी) + Salt (नमक) and cooked it for 1 minute. (इसमें अचार ग्रेवी + नमक मिलाये)

-> Now you add Basmati rice (बासमती चावल) + Split Bengal gram (चने की दाल) + Lemon juice (नींबू का रस) and mixed very well and cooked it for 2 minute. After you add 4 cup water (पानी) and covered it by the lid and when cooker gives the three whistles then off the gas. (बासमती चावल + चने की दाल + नींबू का रस + पानी  मिला कर कुकर में पका ले)

-> When the pressure of the cooker it remove then open the lid and taken out the rice into plate. (प्रेशर ख़त्म होने पर कुकर खोले )

-> Your tasty and spicy Achaari Chana Pulao (अचारी चना पुलाव) is ready. Garnished it with Chopped Fresh coriander (कटा ताजा हरा धनिया). (हरे धनिये से सजाये)
