Akbari Daal

 (अकबरी दाल)

Ingredients (सामग्री):

Whole Urad Daal (साबुत उड़द की दाल) ---------- 500 gms

Ginger (अदरक) ---------- 10 gms

Cream (क्रीम) ---------- 200 gms

Ghee (घी) ---------- 50 gms

Yogurt (दही) ---------- 200 gms

Salt (नमक) ---------- To taste

Pepper Powder (काली मिर्च पाउडर) ---------- to taste

Red Chili Powder (लाल मिर्च पाउडर) ---------- To taste

Turmeric Powder (हल्दी पाउडर) ---------- 1/2 smallspoon

Foxnut (मखाने) ---------- 25 gms

Green Chili (हरी मिर्च) ---------- 4

Almond (बादाम) ---------- 5 gms

Green Coriander (हरा धनियां) ---------- 2 tablespoon

Cashew nut (काजू ) ---------- 5 gms

Garam Masala (गरम मसाला) ---------- 1 smallspoon

How to make Akbari Daal (अकबरी दाल बनाने की विधि)

-> First washed the Whole Urad Daal (साबुत उड़द की दाल) and add Salt (नमक) + Red Chili Powder (लाल मिर्च पाउडर) in a pressure cooker and keep boiling.

-> Heat the Oil (तेल) in a Cauldron (कडाही). When Oil (तेल) became hot then fried it Foxnut (मखाने). After it grind it into grinder.

-> Now again heat the Oil (तेल) in a Cauldron (कडाही). When Oil (तेल) became hot then Pepper Powder (काली मिर्च पाउडर) + Salt (नमक) + Yogurt (दही) + Cream (क्रीम) and mixed very well.

-> After you add the boiled Daal (दाल) + Foxnut Powder (मखानो को पाउडर) + Garam Masala (गरम मसाला) and cooked it for 2-3 minute.

-> Your Akbari Daal (अकबरी दाल ) is ready. Before served garnished it with chopped Ginger (अदरक) + Green Chili (हरी मिर्च) + Green Coriander (हरा धनियां) , after you also put the finely chopped Almond (बादाम) + Cashew nut (काजू )
