Apple Halwa

सेब का हलवा

Ingredients (सामग्री)


Grated apple (कसा हुआ सेब) ---------- 1 cup 

Milk (दूध) ---------- 1 cup

Milk powder (मिल्क पाउडर) ---------- 2 tsp

Sugar (चीनी) ---------- 1/2  cup

Ghee (घी) ---------- 1 tablespoon

Saffron (केसर) ---------- few strands

Cardamom powder (इलायची पाउडर) ---------- 1/4 smallspoon

Cashews/Almonds (काजू/बादाम) ---------- 1 tablespoon


How to make Apple Halwa (सेब का हलवा बनाने की विधि)


-> First washed the apple (सेब) and peel it. After you grated the Apple (सेब) and  transfer the same immediately in the milk to avoid discoloration of the apple. (सेब को छिले और कदुकस कर के तुरंत दूध में डाले)


-> Take a Cauldron (कडाही) add Ghee (घी) + Milk (दूध) + Grated apple (कसा हुआ सेब) + Saffron (केसर) and mixed very well and cooked it. (घी + दूध + कसा हुआ सेब + केसर मिला कर पकाये)


-> The Milk (दूध) will start curdling due to the sourness of the apple. continue stirring. (दूध सेब डाल ने फटने लगता है इसलिये लगातार चलाते रहे)


-> When the mixture becomes dry then add Sugar (चीनी) and stir continuously. (चीनी मिला कर पकाये)


-> When the halwa starts leaving the sides of the Cauldron (कडाही) then  add Milk powder (मिल्क पाउडर) +  Cardamom powder (इलायची पाउडर) and stir. (जब हलवा किनारे छोड़ने लगे तो इसमें मिल्क पाउडर + इलायची पाउडर मिलाये)


-> When halwa became then off the gas after you add Cashews/Almonds (काजू/बादाम) and mixed it. (गैस बंद करे और काजू/बादाम मिलाये)


-> Tasty Apple Halwa (सेब का हलवा) is ready. Garnished it with Cashews/Almonds (काजू/बादाम) (काजू/बादाम से सजाये)
