On the day of Bada Ekadasi Festival observed the fast and people gather at Dhabaleswar, Temple of Lord Mahadeva . This temple is placed in midst of the river Mahanadi near Cuttak for fulfillment of boonsThe three deities, are attired in costumes of glittering gold and are worshipped by thousands of devotees. This form of the deities is known as the famous Suna Vesa.Men also obserbed the fast in this day.
