Badami Phirni

बादामी फिरनी

Ingredients (सामग्री)


Rice (चावल) ---------- 70 gms

Milk (दूध) ---------- 1 liter

Almond (बादाम) ---------- 20-25

Chopped Pistachios (बारीक कटे हुए पिस्ते) ---------- 10 - 12 

Cashewnut (काजू) ---------- 10 - 12 

Sugar (चीनी) ---------- 75 gms or 1/3 cup

Cardamom Powder (इलायची पाउडर) ---------- 3-4


How to make Badami Phirni (बादामी फिरनी बनाने की विधि)


-> First clean the Rice (चावल) and washed it with water (पानी) and soaked it into water for 1/2 hours. After taken out into the water and Rough grinding it into grinder. (चावल धो कर पानी में भिगो कर रख दे और बाद में मिक्सी में मोटा पीस ले)


-> You also soak the Almond (बादाम) into water for 2 - 3 hours and after it taken out into water and peel it. And grind the Almond (बादाम) into grinder. (बादाम को पानी में भिगो कर रखे और बाद में मिक्सी में पीस ले)


-> Now put the Milk (दूध) into Heavy-bottomed pot and put it on the gas. When Milk (दूध) comes to the boil then add Rice (चावल) and cooked it on medium flame and stir slowly with the spoon on the regular bases. (दूध उबाले और बाद में इसमें चावल डाल कर पकाए)


-> When mixture became thick then add Sugar (चीनी)  + Cashewnut (काजू) +  Almond Mixture (बादाम मिश्रण) and cooked it until Sugar (चीनी) dissolves into Phirni (फिरनी) (गाढ़ा होने पर इमसे चीनी + काजू + बादाम मिश्रण मिला कर पकाए)


-> Off the gas and add Cardamom Powder (इलायची पाउडर) and mixed very well. (गैस बंद करे और इलायची पाउडर मिलाये)


-> Your Badami Phirni (बादामी फिरनी) is ready. Taken out into bowl and garnished it with Cashewnut (काजू) +  Chopped Pistachios (बारीक कटे हुए पिस्ते) and keep it into Refrigerator. served it cool - cool . (काजू-बारीक कटे हुए पिस्ते से सजाये)
