Brinjal and Peas masala

(बैगन मटर मसाला)

Ingredients (सामग्री)


Brinjal (बैगन) ---------- 250 gms or 1 

Asafoetida (हींग) ---------- 1 pinch

Tomatoes (टमाटर) ---------- 2

Onion (प्याज) ---------- 1

Green Chili (हरी मिर्च) ---------- 2

Cumin (जीरा) ---------- 1/2 spoon

Turmeric Powder (हल्दी पाउडर) ---------- 1/4 smallspoon

Coriander Powder (धनियां पाउडर) ---------- 1 smallspoon

Red Chili Powder (लाल मिर्च पाउडर) ---------- 1/4 smallspoon

Salt (नमक) ---------- to taste

Peas (मटर के दाने) ---------- 1 small bowl

Ginger (अदरक) ---------- 1 inch long pieces

Oil (तेल) ---------- 1 tablespoon

Chopped Green Coriander (कटा हरा धनियां) ---------- 2 tablespoon


How to make Brinjal and Peas masala (बैगन मटर मसाला बनाने की विधि)


-> First washed the Brinjal (बैगन) and cuts into small pieces and soak it into water. (बैगन धो कर काट ले और पानी मे भीगो कर रख दे)


-> Now take Tomatoes (टमाटर) + Green Chili (हरी मिर्च) + Ginger (अदरक) and grind it into grinder. Keep aside in a bowl. (टमाटर + हरी मिर्च + अदरक पीस ले)


-> Now heat some Oil (तेल) in a fry pan. When Oil (तेल) became hot then add Cumin (जीरा) + Asafoetida (हींग) and fried it . After you add Onion (प्याज) and cooked it until they trun to golden brown in color. (तेल + जीरा + हींग + प्याज फ़्राइ करे)


-> Now you add Turmeric Powder (हल्दी पाउडर) + Coriander Powder (धनियां पाउडर) + Red Chili Powder (लाल मिर्च पाउडर) + Tomatoes-Green Chili-Ginger paste (टमाटर-हरी मिर्च-अदरक का पेस्ट) and fried it until Oil (तेल) does not separate to masale. (इसमे हल्दी पाउडर + धनियां पाउडर + लाल मिर्च पाउडर + टमाटर-हरी मिर्च-अदरक का पेस्ट फ़्राइ करे)


-> Now you add Peas (मटर के दाने) and fried it 3-4 minute. After you add Brinjal pieces (बैगन के टुकड़े) + Salt (नमक) + 2 tablespoon Water (पानी) and mixed very well. (मटर के दाने + बैगन के टुकड़े  + नमक + पानी मिलाकर पकाये)


-> Covered this sabzi by lid (ढक्कन) and cooked it on medium flame gas for 6-7 minute. After 7 minute see that Brinjal pieces (बैगन के टुकड़े) + Brinjal pieces (बैगन के टुकड़े) are became soft or not. If Not then you add 1 tablespoon Water (पानी) and cooked it for 3-4 minute. (बैगन के टुकड़े + मटर के दाने मुलायम होने तक पकाये)


-> When sabzi became ready then off the gas and you add Chopped Green Coriander (कटा हरा धनियां). (हरा धनियां डाल कर सजाये)


-> Your Brinjal and Peas masala (बैगन मटर मसाला) is ready served.
