About British Cemetery
In year 1802, British Cemetery was built with the aim of British Garrisons during Napoleonic wars to prevent french invasions. In this Cemetery there is 47 tombstones and 56 gravestones of sepulchral relics. Present British Cemetery is managed by the Directorate of Archives and Archaeology.
The cemetery has a simple architectural style with a huge gate.
People believed that this Cemetery was built during the Napoleonic Wars during 1799 to 1813. And Tombstones and gravestones in the cemetery date from 1808 to 1912.
