छेपला पुलुसु

Ingredients (सामग्री)

Salmon Fish (सामन मछली) ---------- 1 Kg

Peanut Oil (मूंगफली का तेल) ---------- 1/2 cup

Onions (प्याज़) ---------- 3 medium in sized

Green Chillies (हरी मिर्च) ---------- 5

Tomato (टमाटर) ---------- 2 medium in sized

Ginger Garlic Paste (अदरक लहसुन का पेस्ट) ---------- 3 smallspoon

Cloves (लौंग) ---------- 4

Cardamom (इलायची) ---------- 2

Coriander Powder (धनिया पाउडर) ---------- 3 smallspoon

Tamarind extract (इमली एक्सट्रेक्ट) ---------- 3 - 4 tablespoon

Red Chilli Powder (लाल मिर्च पाउडर) ---------- 2 smallspoon

Turmeric powder (हल्दी पाउडर) ---------- 1/2 smallspoon

Coriander Leaves (धनिया पत्तियां) ---------- 1 fistful (मुट्ठी)

Salt (नमक) ---------- To taste

How to make Chepala Pulusu (छेपला पुलुसु बनाने की विधि)

-> First Cut Onions (प्याज़) into fine pieces and cut Green Chillies (हरी मिर्च) lengthwise. (प्याज़ को बारीक़ टुकडो में काटे और हरी मिर्च को लम्बाई में काटे)

-> Now cut the Tomato (टमाटर) into big pieces after grind it and make a smooth paste. (टमाटर को बड़े टुकड़े में काट कर मिक्सी में पीस ले)

-> You also crush and powder the Cloves (लौंग) and Cardamom (इलायची). (लौंग + इलायची को पीस कर पाउडर बना ले)

-> Cut Salmon Fish (सामन मछली) into medium size pieces, wash them with lemon (नींबू) and salty water (नमकीन पानी) and set aside. (सामन मछली को छोटे टुकड़े में काटे और नींबू + नमकीन पानी से धोये)

-> Mix 1 1/2 smallspoon Ginger Garlic Paste (अदरक लहसुन का पेस्ट) + 1 smallspoon Red Chilli Powder (लाल मिर्च पाउडर) + 1 1/2 smallspoon Coriander Powder (धनिया पाउडर) + Turmeric powder (हल्दी पाउडर) and the fish pieces (मछली के टुकड़े). (अदरक लहसुन का पेस्ट + लाल मिर्च पाउडर + धनिया पाउडर + हल्दी पाउडर को मछली के टुकड़े में मिलाये)

-> Make sure fish pieces (मछली के टुकड़े) are well coated with the paste and spices and keep aside for 15 minutes. (मछली के टुकड़ो को मसाले पेस्ट से अच्छी तरह लपेटे)

-> Now heat the Peanut Oil (मूंगफली का तेल) in a skillet on medium heat, add Green Chillies (हरी मिर्च) + Onions (प्याज़) and fry it till Onions (प्याज़) turn to light brown. (तेल + हरी मिर्च + प्याज़ को फ्राई करे)

-> After you add Ginger Garlic Paste (अदरक लहसुन का पेस्ट) + Red Chilli Powder (लाल मिर्च पाउडर) + Coriander Powder (धनिया पाउडर) + a pinch Salt (नमक) and fried it for 1 minutes. (अब इसमें अदरक लहसुन का पेस्ट + लाल मिर्च पाउडर + धनिया पाउडर + नमक मिला कर फ्राई करे)

-> Now you add fish pieces (मछली के टुकड़े) and fry for another 5 minutes. Do not stir very often fishes may split into pieces. (इसमें मछली के टुकड़े को मिलाये)

-> Now you add Tomato paste (टमाटर का पेस्ट) + Tamarind extract (इमली एक्सट्रेक्ट) and mix it. Let it come to a boil, turn heat to low and cook for 15 minutes. (अब इसमें टमाटर का पेस्ट + इमली एक्सट्रेक्ट मिला कर पका ले)

-> Add Coriander Leaves (धनिया पत्तियां) +  cardamom and clove powder (इलायची और लौंग पाउडर) stir once and cook for another 5 minutes. Off the gas. (इसमें धनिया पत्तियां + इलायची और लौंग पाउडर मिलाये)

-> Chepala Pulusu (छेपला पुलुसु) is ready. Served it with hot plain white rice.  (गरम पके चावलों से पके)
