चिकन मसाला

Ingredients (सामग्री)

Chopped dried red chillies (कटी सूखी लाल मिर्च) ---------- 5 

Coriander seeds (धनिया बीज) ---------- 1 smallspoon

Red chilli powder (लाल मिर्च पाउडर) ---------- 2 smallspoon

Poppy seeds (खसखस) ---------- 1 smallspoon

Cumin seeds (जीरा) ---------- 1 smallspoon

Garlic (लहसुन) ---------- 2 large

Cardamom powder (इलायची पाउडर) ---------- 1 smallspoon

Fennel seeds (सौंफ) ---------- 1 smallspoon

Chopped green chillies (कटी हुई हरी मिर्च) ---------- 2-3

Tamarind paste (इमली पेस्ट) ---------- 1 1/2 tablespoons

Chopped ginger (कटा हुआ अदरक) ---------- 1 inch long pieces

Chopped fresh coriander leaves (कटा हुआ ताजा हरा धनिया) ---------- 2 tablespoon

Olive oil (जैतून का तेल) ---------- 4 tablespoons 

Chopped onions (कटा हुआ प्याज) ---------- 2

Boneless chicken breasts cut into bite size pieces (हड्डी रहित चिकन और टुकड़ों में कटा हुआ) ---------- 1.5 kg

Desiccated coconut (सूखा नारियल) ---------- 1 tablespoon

Salt (नमक) ---------- To taste

How to make Chicken Masala (चिकन मसाला बनाने की विधि)

-> First make the masala. In a Fry pan roast the Chopped dried red chillies (कटी सूखी लाल मिर्च) + Coriander seeds (धनिया बीज) + Red chilli powder (लाल मिर्च पाउडर) + Poppy seeds (खसखस) + Cumin seeds (जीरा) + Garlic (लहसुन) + Cardamom powder (इलायची पाउडर) + Fennel seeds (सौंफ) for 5 - 6 minute. (कटी सूखी लाल मिर्च + धनिया बीज + लाल मिर्च पाउडर + खसखस + जीरा + लहसुन + इलायची पाउडर + सौंफ को भुन ले)

-> After cool this masala mixture and grind it into grinder. (इस मसाला मिश्रण को ठंडा कर के पीस ले)

-> Now you add Chopped green chillies (कटी हुई हरी मिर्च) + Tamarind paste (इमली पेस्ट) + Chopped ginger (कटा हुआ अदरक) + Chopped fresh coriander leaves (कटा हुआ ताजा हरा धनिया) into masala mixture (मसाला मिश्रण) and again grind it into grinder. Keep aside. (कटी हुई हरी मिर्च + इमली पेस्ट + कटा हुआ अदरक + ताजा हरा धनिया मसाला मिश्रण में मिला कर दुबारा पीसे)

-> Now heat the Olive oil (जैतून का तेल) in a fry pan. When Olive oil (जैतून का तेल) became hot then add Chopped onions (कटा हुआ प्याज) and fried it until onion (प्याज) turn to golden brown in color.(जैतून का तेल + कटा हुआ प्याज को फ्राई करे) 

-> Now you add masala mixture (मसाला मिश्रण) and cooked it for 6 - 7 minute.(अब इसमें मसाला मिश्रण मिला कर फ्राई करे)

-> Now you add Chicken pieces (चिकन के टुकड़े) +  Salt (नमक) and mixed it and cooked it medium flame gas for 20 - 30 minute or until chicken is cooked through. Off the gas. (चिकन के टुकड़े + नमक मिला कर पकाये)

-> Chicken Masala (चिकन मसाला ) is ready. Garnished it with Desiccated coconut (सूखा नारियल) and served hot. (सूखे नारियल से सजाये)
