चिकन पोहा

Ingredients (सामग्री)

Chicken (चिकन) ---------- 500 grams (cut into 1 inch pieces on the bone)

Thick Pressed rice (पोहा) ---------- 150 grams

Oil (तेल) ---------- 3 tablespoons

Black cardamoms (काली इलायची) ---------- 4

Cinnamon (दालचीनी) ---------- 1 inch stick

Cloves (लौंग) ---------- 4-5

Black peppercorns (काली मिर्च) ---------- 25-30

Cumin seeds (जीरा) ---------- 1 1/2 smallspoon

Finely chopped Green chillies (बारीक कटी हरी मिर्च) ---------- 3

Sliced Onions (कटा हुआ प्याज) ---------- 3 medium

Finely chopped Ginger (बारीक़ कटा हुआ अदरक) ---------- 1 inch piece

Chopped Garlic (कटा हुआ लहसुन) ---------- 15-20 cloves

Roughly chopped Fresh coriander leaves (मोटा कटा हुआ ताजा हरा धनिया) ---------- 4 tablespoons

Yogurt (दही) ---------- 1/2 cup

Ghee (घी) ---------- 2 tablespoons

Turmeric powder (हल्दी पाउडर) ---------- 1/2 smallspoon

Red chilli powder (लाल मिर्च पाउडर) ---------- 1 smallspoon

Salt (नमक) ---------- To taste

How to make Chicken Poha (चिकन पोहा बनाने की विधि)

-> First heat the Oil (तेल) a non stick pan. When Oil (तेल) became hot then add Black cardamoms (काली इलायची) + Cinnamon (दालचीनी) + Cloves (लौंग) + Black peppercorns (काली मिर्च) + Cumin seeds (जीरा) and fried it for 1 minute. (तेल + काली इलायची + दालचीनी + लौंग + काली मिर्च + जीरा को फ्राई करे)

-> After you add Finely chopped Green chillies (बारीक कटी हरी मिर्च) + Sliced Onions (कटा हुआ प्याज) and fried it until Onions (प्याज) changed its color. (इसमें बारीक कटी हरी मिर्च + कटा हुआ प्याज डाल कर फ्राई करे)

-> Add Finely chopped Ginger (बारीक़ कटा हुआ अदरक) + Chopped Garlic (कटा हुआ लहसुन) and fried it for 2 - 3 minute. Now you add 2 tablespoon coriander leaves (हरा धनिया) and mix well. (अब इसमें बारीक़ कटा हुआ अदरक + कटा हुआ लहसुन + हरा धनिया मिलाये और फ्राई करे)

-> Cool this mixture and transfer this mixture into a mixer jar, add Yogurt (दही) and grind to a paste. (इस मिश्रण को ठंडा करे और दही मिला कर पीस ले)

-> Now heat Oil (तेल) in another non stick pan. Add chicken pieces (चिकन के टुकड़े) and fried it till they turns to golden brown in color. Now you mix above masala paste (मसाला पेस्ट) and mix well. (दूसरे पैन में तेल + चिकन के टुकड़े को फ्राई करे और मसाला पेस्ट मिलाये)

-> Add Turmeric powder (हल्दी पाउडर) + Red chilli powder (लाल मिर्च पाउडर) + Salt (नमक) mix well. Cover and cook for 5-6 minutes. (इसमें हल्दी पाउडर + लाल मिर्च पाउडर + नमक मिलाये और पकाये)

-> Soak Thick Pressed rice (पोहा) in water for 4-5 minutes and drain. Spread half poha (पोहा) on a butter paper and place chicken pieces (चिकन के टुकड़े) over it. (पोहे को पानी में भिगोये और 1/2 पोहे को बटर पेपर पर फैलाये और ऊपर चिकन के टुकड़े रखे)

-> Now you spread remaining coriander leaves (हरा धनिया) +  poha (पोहा) over the chicken (चिकन). Wrap the paper firmly to completely cover the chicken. Open the paper after 10 minutes and serve. (ऊपर से हरा धनिया + बचा हुआ पोहा चिकन पर फैलाये और इसको पेपर से कवर करके 10 मिनट के रख दे)

-> Chicken Poha (चिकन पोहा) is ready.
