Chickpea Salad

^ Preparation Time :15 Minutes. ^ Cooking Time : 20 Minutes. ^  Serves 2.

काबुली चने का सलाद

Ingredients (सामग्री)

Soaked White Chickpea (भीगे काबुली चने) ---------- 1/2 Cup

Chopped Tomatoes (कटा हुआ टमाटर) ---------- 1/4 Cup

Spring Onion (हरी प्याज) ---------- 2

Cheese Pieces (पनीर के टुकड़े) ---------- 1/2 Cup

Cucumber Pieces (ककड़ी के टुकड़े) ---------- 1/2 Cup

For The Dressing

Mint Leaves (पुदीना) ---------- 1/2 Cup

Chopped Coriander (कटा धनिया) ---------- 1/2 Cup

Ginger (अदरक) ---------- 1 inch Pieces

Green Chillies (हरी मिर्च) ---------- 2

Curds (दही) ---------- 3 tablespoon

Salt (नमक) ---------- To taste 

How to make Chickpea Salad (काबुली चने का सलाद बनाने की विधि)

-> First washed and soaked the White Chickpea (काबुली चने). After you add fresh water and Salt (नमक) into pressure cooker and boiled until it get the 3 to 4 whistles till they are soft. (काबुली चने को धो कर पानी में भिगो दे और और नमक + पानी प्रेशर कुकर में डाल कर उबाल ले)

-> Now you take the Mint Leaves (पुदीना) + Chopped Coriander (कटा धनिया) + Ginger (अदरक) + Green Chillies (हरी मिर्च) + Curds (दही)  + Salt (नमक) into mixer and blend it and make a smooth paste. Keep it into refrigerate to chill. (पुदीना + कटा धनिया + अदरक + हरी मिर्च + दही + नमक मिला कर पीस ले)

-> When the pressure of the cooker it remove then drain the water of the White Chickpea (काबुली चने). (काबुली चनो का पानी निकाल दे)

-> Now you add Chopped Tomatoes (कटा हुआ टमाटर) + Spring Onion (हरी प्याज)  + Cheese Pieces (पनीर के टुकड़े) + Cucumber Pieces (ककड़ी के टुकड़े) into White Chickpea (काबुली चने).  and mixed very well. ( अब चनो में टमाटर + हरी प्याज + पनीर के टुकड़े + ककड़ी के टुकड़े मिला दे)

-> Before serving add the Dressing paste and mixed it and served it. (परोसने से पहेले इसमें पुदीना + धनिया का मिश्रण मिला दे)

Nutritional value (पोषण का महत्व) :  Calcium : 320.7 mg per serving

Note : One of the most nutritious of all beans, Chickpeas are rich in calcium, protein and iron. Curds and paneer enrich tangy salad with more calcium and protein, while coriander and mint increase its vitamin A Content. Chill this salad thoroughly before you serve it.
