Dal Makhani Recipe (दाल मखानी व्यंजन )

Ingredients (सामग्री):

Whole urad daal (urad sabut साबुत उरद) ----------- 1 cup

Red kidney beans (राजमा) ----------- 1 tbsp

Chopped onions ( कटी प्याज) ----------- 2

Chopped tomatoes (कटा टमाटर) ----------- 2

Chopped ginger (कटा अदरक) ----------- 2-3 Piece 

Green chilies (हरी मिर्च) ----------- 2-3

Garlic paste( पिसा  लहसुन) ----------- 1/2  tbsp

coriander leaves(हरे धनिये) ----------- 1 tbsp

Cream (क्रीम) ----------- 1/2 cup

Stirred curd (दही) ----------- 1/2 cup

Butter ( मक्खन) ----------- 1-2 tbsp

Cumin seeds (जीरा बीज) ----------- 1/2 tbsp

Turmeric Powder  ( हल्दी पाउडर) ----------- 1/2 tsp

Red Chilli powder(लाल मिर्च पाउडर) ----------- 1/2 tbsp

Garam masala (गरम मसाला) ----------- 1/2 tbsp

Coriander Powder (धनिया पाउडर) ----------- 1 tbsp

Salt (नमक) ----------- to taste

Oil (तेल) ----------- 2 tbsp

How to make Dal Makhani (दाल मखानी बनाने की विधि):

-> Soak (भिगोना) Red kidney beans (राजमा) overnight in water (पानी). (राजमा धोकर रात भर पानी मे भिगो कर रखे)

-> Add water (पानी) + urad daal (साबुत उरद) + Red kidney beans (राजमा) + Salt (नमक) in pressure-cook and cook until both soft for 20-25 minutes. (साबुत उरद +  राजमा  नमक + पानी को प्रेशर कुकर में पका लो)

-> When they became soft, mash them and coock again 15-20 minutes. (जब दाल मुलायम हो जाये तो दाल को मसल ले और दुबारा पकाये)

-> Now add curd (दही) + cream (क्रीम) in daal. (दही + क्रीम दाल मे डाले)

-> Now heat the Oil (तेल) in a pan and  fry the Cumin seeds (जीरा बीज) + Garlic paste (पिसा लहसुन) and fry till light brown . After add Chopped onions (कटी प्याज) and fry until paste becam golden brown. (तेल + जीरा + पिसा लहसुन + कटी प्याज फ़्राइ करे).

-> After add Chopped ginger (कटा अदरक) + Chopped tomatoes (कटा टमाटर)+ Green chilies (हरी मिर्च) and fry it. (फिर कटा अदरक + कटा टमाटर + हरी मिर्च डाल कर फ़्राइ करे)

-> Now add Turmeric Powder (हल्दी पाउडर) + Coriander Powder (धनिया पाउडर) +Red Chilli powder(लाल मिर्च पाउडर) + Salt (नमक) and fry some time. ( फिर हल्दी पाउडर+ धनिया पाउडर + लाल मिर्च पाउडर + नमक डाल कर फ़्राइ करे)

-> Now add daal and cook on sim 3-4 minutes. (इसमे दाल डालकर पकाये )

-> Now off the gas and add Garam masala (गरम मसाला) in Dal. Dal Makhani is ready to served.( गैस बंद करे और दाल मे गरम मसाला डाले )

-> Garnish it with Chopped Green coriander (हरे धनिये) and add Butter ( मक्खन). (हरे धनिये + मक्खन डाल कर सजाये)
