दलिया भात

Ingredients (सामग्री):

Broken wheat (दलिया/ टूटे गेहूं) ---------- 1 cup

Ghee (घी) ---------- 3 tablespoons

Finely chopped Green capsicum (बारीक कटी हरी शिमला मिर्च) ---------- 1 medium in sized

Green peas (हरी मटर के दाने) ---------- 1 cup

Split pigeon pea (तूर दाल/अरहर दाल) ---------- 1/2 cup

Shallots (छोटा प्याज़) ---------- 5

Turmeric powder (हल्दी पाउडर) ---------- 1/4 smallspoon

Tamarind pulp (इमली का गूदा) ---------- 2 tablespoons

Salt (नमक) ---------- To taste

Finely chopped Carrots (बारीक़ कटा गाजर) ---------- 2 medium

Chopped Cauliflower into small florets (फूलगोभी छोटे टुकडो में) ---------- 1/4 medium

Mustard seeds (सरसों के बीज) ---------- 1 smallspoon

Asafoetida (हींग) ---------- a pinch

Curry leaves (करी पत्ते) ---------- 8

Chopped Onion (कटा हुआ प्याज) ---------- 1 medium

How to make Dalia Bhaat (दलिया भात बनाने की विधि)


-> First soaked the Split pigeon pea (तूर दाल/अरहर दाल) into water for 1 hours. (दाल को पानी भिगो कर रखे)

-> Now take a pressure Cooker (प्रेशर कुकर) and heat the Ghee (घी). When Ghee (घी) became hot then add Mustard seeds (सरसों के बीज) and fried it for 1 minute. After you add Asafoetida (हींग) + Curry leaves (करी पत्ते) and fried it for 1 minute. (घी + सरसों के बीज + हींग + करी पत्ते को प्रेशर कुकर में फ्राई करे)

-> Now you add the Chopped Onion (कटा हुआ प्याज) + Shallots (छोटा प्याज़) and fried it until it turn to golden brown in color. After you add Carrots (गाजर) + Cauliflower  (फूलगोभी) + Capsicum (शिमला मिर्च) + Green peas (हरी मटर के दाने) and cooked it for 5-6 minute. (इसमें प्याज + छोटा प्याज़ + गाजर + फूलगोभी + शिमला मिर्च + हरी मटर के दाने डाल कर पकाये)

-> Now you add Broken wheat (दलिया/ टूटे गेहूं) + Split pigeon pea (तूर दाल/अरहर दाल) and mixed very well. After you add 3 cup water (पानी) + Turmeric powder (हल्दी पाउडर) + Tamarind pulp (इमली का गूदा) + Salt (नमक) and mixed very. Closed the cooker lid.(इसमें दलिया + तूर दाल/अरहर दाल + पानी + हल्दी पाउडर + इमली का गूदा + नमक मिला कर कुकर का ढक्कन बंद करके पका ले)

-> When Cooker get the 4 Whistle the off the gas. Open the cooker when the pressure reduces completely.( 4 सीटी आने पर गैस बंद करे)

-> Your tasty and healthy Dalia Bhaat (दलिया भात) is ready. Served it with yogurt (दही) (दही के साथ परोसे)
