Aurangabad district is a district of Bihar state, India, and the administrative headquarters of this district is Aurangabad town.
Geography of Aurangabad
To the East side of Aurangabad district lies Gaya, to the west side Rohtas, to the south side Palamu of the Jharkhand province and to the North side Arwal district.The area of the Aurangabad District is 3305 square kilometers.  Aurangabad district is a part of Magadh division.
Main Rivers : Son, Punpun, Auranga, Bataane, Morhar, Aadri are the rivers that flow in this area.
