Koderma is a district of Jharkhand state in eastern India.
Geography of Koderma
Koderma district is bounded on the North side by the Nawada district of Bihar, on the south side by Hazaribagh district of Jharkhand on the east side by Giridih district of Jharkhand and on the west side by the Gaya district of Bihar.
Main Rivers : Sakri river is the main river in the northern part of the district.Ghggnna Naddi, Chhotanari Nadi are the tributaries of Sakri river.Barakar River and its tributaries are Poanchkhara, Keso, Akto, Gurio, Gukhana Nadi.

About Koderma District
On 10th April 1994, District Koderma was created, out of the old Hazaribagh district of the North Chhotanagpur Division. The district has only two major towns - Koderma and Tilaiya.
