Geography of Mahoba
Mahoba district covers the 2884 sq. Km. area. North side of this district is bounded by Hamiprpur district, South side is bounded by Madhya Pradesh state, East side is bounded by Banda district and the West side is bounded by Jhansi district.This district is situated at the foot of a low granite hill called Gorakh-giri or 'Gokhar', an offshoot of the Vindhyas.
