West Singhbhum district is bounded on north side by Khunti district, on the east side by Saraikela Kharsawan district, Mayurbhanj and Sundergarh districts of Orissa , on the south side by Keonjhar and on the west side by Gumla district of Jharkhand and Sundargarh district of Orissa. District covers the 351.41 Sq. Kilometers. area.
