Fish Kofta Curry

मछली कोफ्ता करी

Ingredients (सामग्री)


Koftas (कोफ्ता)

White fish fillets (सफ़ेद मछली फिलेट) ---------- 1 kg/2 lb firm 

Finely chopped onion (बारीक़ कटा हुआ प्याज) ---------- 1 medium in sized

Finely chopped garlic (बारीक़ कटा हुआ लहसुन) ---------- 1 teaspoon 

Grated ginger (कसा हुआ अदरक) ---------- 1 1/2 teaspoons 

Lime or lemon juice (नींबू का रस) ---------- 2 tablespoons

Finely chopped fresh coriander (बारीक़ कटा हुआ ताजा धनिया) ---------- 1 tablespoon 

White bread (मैदा की ब्रेड) ---------- 2 slices 

Salt (नमक) ---------- 2 1/2 teaspoons

Pepper (काली मिर्च) ---------- 1/2 teaspoon 

Oil (तेल) ---------- for deep frying 

 

Curry (करी)

Oil (तेल) ---------- 2 tablespoon

Finely chopped onions (बारीक़ कटा हुआ प्याज) ---------- 3 medium 

Finely chopped garlic (बारीक़ कटा हुआ लहसुन) ---------- 1 tablespoon

Finely chopped fresh ginger (बारीक़ कटा हुआ ताजा अदरक) ---------- 1 tablespoon 

Turmeric Powder (हल्दी पाउडर) ---------- 1 teaspoon 

Chilli powder (मिर्च पाउडर) ---------- 1-2 teaspoons 

Peeled and chopped Tomatoes (छिला और कटे टमाटर) ---------- 2 

Salt (नमक) ---------- 1 1/2 teaspoons 

Hot water (गरम पानी) ---------- 375 ml 

Chopped fresh coriander leaves (कटा हुआ ताजा हरा धनिया) ---------- 2 tablespoons 

Lemon juice (नींबू का रस) ---------- 2 tablespoons 

Curd (दही) ---------- 2 tablespoon

 

How to make Fish Kofta Curry (मछली कोफ्ता करी बनाने की विधि)


For Kofta

-> First Boil the fish (मछली) and remove the bones nicely. And mince (क़ीमा) the fish (मछली). (मछली को उबाले और इसकी स्किन निकाले और कीमा बना ले)

 

-> Now take the Finely chopped onion (बारीक़ कटा हुआ प्याज) + Finely chopped garlic (बारीक़ कटा हुआ लहसुन) + Grated ginger (कसा हुआ अदरक) + Lime or lemon juice (नींबू का रस) + White bread (मैदा की ब्रेड) + Salt (नमक) + Pepper (काली मिर्च) and mixed very well. (बारीक़ कटा हुआ प्याज + बारीक़ कटा हुआ लहसुन + कसा हुआ अदरक + नींबू का रस + मैदा की ब्रेड + काली मिर्च को आपस में अच्छी तरह मिला ले)

 

-> Now you add the Minced fish (कीमा बनाया हुआ मछली) and mixed very well and make a smooth mixture. (अब इसमें कीमा बनाया हुआ मछली मिलाये)

 

-> Now divide this mixture into small balls. Now heat the Oil (तेल) in a fry pan. When Oil (तेल) became hot then deep fry the Kofta (कोफ्ता) until they turn to golden brown colur. Drain and set aside.  (मिश्रण को बराबर भाग में बाटे और मिश्रण की छोटी छोटी बॉल बनाये और गरम तेल में तल ले)

 

-> Kofta (कोफ्ता) is ready. (कोफ्ते तैयार है)

 

For Curry (करी के लिए)

-> Heat 2 tablespoons of Oil (तेल). When Oil (तेल) became hot then add onions (प्याज) + garlic (लहसुन) + fresh ginger (ताजा अदरक) and fried it until onions (प्याज) turns to golden brown in color. (तेल + प्याज + लहसुन + ताजा अदरक को फ्राई करे)

 

-> Now you add Peeled and chopped Tomatoes (छिला और कटे टमाटर) and fried it for 2 minute.After you add Turmeric Powder (हल्दी पाउडर) + Chilli powder (मिर्च पाउडर) and fried it couple of seconds. (अब इसमें छिला और कटे टमाटर + हल्दी पाउडर + मिर्च पाउडर मिलाये और पकाये)

 

-> Now you add Curd (दही) + Lemon juice (नींबू का रस) and Cook till the Oil (तेल) floats to the top. Now you add Hot water (गरम पानी) mix nicely and cook over a low fire till all the liquid dries. Bring to a rolling boil, reduce heat and simmer gently for 5 minutes. (दही + नींबू का रस + गरम पानी मिलाये और पकाये)

 

-> At last you add Kofta (कोफ्ता) and simmer for 5 more minutes. (अब इसमें कोफ्ते डाले और पकाये)

 

-> Fish Kofta Curry (मछली कोफ्ता करी ) is ready. Garnished with Chopped fresh coriander leaves (कटा हुआ ताजा हरा धनिया) (ताजे हरे धनिये से सजाये)
