Fish with peas and tomatoes

मटर और टमाटर के साथ मछली

Ingredients (सामग्री)


River or pond fish (नदी या तालाब मछली) ---------- 1kg (cut into medium pieces)

Chopped Tomatoes (कटे टमाटर) ---------- 750  gms 

Shelled peas (छिली मटर) ---------- 750  gms

Garlic (लहसुन) ---------- 1 big whole pod or at least 20 buds

Mustard seeds (सरसों के बीज) ---------- 75 gms (preferably yellow variety)

Coriander powder (धनिया पाउडर) ---------- 75 gms

Turmeric powder (हल्दी पाउडर) ---------- 1/2 smallspoon

Chili powder (मिर्च पाउडर) ---------- to taste

Fenugreek seeds (मेथी के बीज) ---------- 1/4 smallspoon

Salt (नमक) ---------- To taste

Coriander leaves (धनिया पत्ते) ---------- 1/2 tablespoon

Oil (तेल) ---------- For requirement


How to make Fish with peas and tomatoes (मटर और टमाटर के साथ मछली बनाने की विधि)


-> First take the Garlic (लहसुन) + Mustard seeds (सरसों के बीज) + Coriander powder (धनिया पाउडर) + Chili powder (मिर्च पाउडर) + Turmeric powder (हल्दी पाउडर) in a grinder and make a smooth paste. (लहसुन + सरसों के बीज + धनिया पाउडर + मिर्च पाउडर + हल्दी पाउडर को मिक्सी में पीस ले)


-> Now heat 3 tablespoon Oil (तेल) in a wok (कढ़ाई). When Oil (तेल) became hot then add Fenugreek seeds (मेथी के बीज) and fry it for 30 second. Now you add ground masala paste (पीसा मसाला पेस्ट) and fried it for 7 - 8 minutes. (तेल + मेथी के बीज + पीसा मसाला पेस्ट को फ्राई करे)


-> After you add Chopped Tomatoes (कटे टमाटर) and cooked it for 5 minutes. Now you add Shelled peas (छिली मटर) and cook for another 5 minutes. (अब इसमें कटे टमाटर + छिली मटर मिला कर पकाये)


-> Now you add water (पानी) + salt (नमक) and mix it and cooked it till peas (मटर) are cooked. (इसमें पानी + नमक मिला कर मटर के गलने तक पकाये)


-> When peas (मटर) are cooked then you add fish pieces (मछली के टुकड़े) one by one add more water (पानी) and cooked it on medium flame gas till fish (मछली) are cooked. (अब इसमें मछली के टुकड़े एक एक कर के मिलाये और पकाये)


-> When fish (मछली) seems to be cooked turn off the heat .The GRAVY should be thick. (मछली के पकने तक पकाये और गैस बंद कर दे)


-> Fish with peas and tomatoes (मटर और टमाटर के साथ मछली) is ready. Garnished it with coriander leaves (धनिया पत्ते) and served it with roti (रोटी), paratha (पराठा), rice (चावल). (धनिया पत्ते से सजाये और रोटी + पराठा + चावल से परोसे)
