Green Pea Masala Pulao

हरी मटर का मसाला पुलाव

Ingredients (सामग्री):

Rice (चावल) ---------- 1 1/2 cups

Coriander seeds (धनिया बीज) ---------- 1 tablespoon

Fennel seeds (सौंफ़ बीज) ---------- 1/2 smallspoon

Ginger (अदरक) ---------- 1 inch long piece

Garlic (लहसुन) ---------- 3-4 cloves

Fresh green peas (ताजा हरी मटर) ---------- 1 cup

Cinnamon (दालचीनी) ---------- 2 inch stick

Cloves (लौंग) ---------- 4

Black peppercorns (काली मिर्च) ---------- 4

Oil (तेल) ---------- 2 Tablespoons

Turmeric powder (हल्दी पाउडर) ---------- 1/2 smallspoon

Red chili powder (लाल मिर्च पाउडर) ---------- 1 tablespoon

Green chili (हरी मिर्च) ---------- 1

Roughly chopped Fresh coriander (मोटा कटा ताजा हरा धनिया) ---------- 1 tablespoon

Chopped Onions (कटी प्याज) ---------- 2 large in sized

Grated coconut (कसा हुआ नारियल) ---------- 1 tablespoon

Grated Jaggery (कसा हुआ गुड़) ---------- 2 tablespoons

Salt (नमक) ---------- To taste

Ghee (घी)

How to make Green Pea Masala Pulao (हरी मटर का मसाला पुलाव बनाने की विधि)

-> First clean the Rice (चावल) and washed it with clean water and soaked it into water for 1 hours. (चावल धो कर पानी में भिगो कर रखे)

-> Now take the Coriander seeds (धनिया बीज) + Fennel seeds (सौंफ़ बीज) + Ginger (अदरक) + Garlic (लहसुन) + Green chili (हरी मिर्च) + Green coriander (हरा धनिया) + half Chopped Onions (कटी प्याज) + coconut (नारियल) + 1 Cinnamon (दालचीनी) + 2 Cloves (लौंग) + 2 Black peppercorns (काली मिर्च) in a grinder and make a fine paste with some water (पानी). (धनिया बीज + सौंफ़ बीज + अदरक + लहसुन + हरी मिर्च + हरा धनिया + आधी कटी प्याज + नारियल + 1 दालचीनी + 2 लौंग + 2 काली मिर्च को थोड़े पानी के साथ पीस ले और पेस्ट बना ले)

-> Now heat the Oil (तेल) in a fry pan. When Oil (तेल) became hot then add remaining Cinnamon (दालचीनी) + Cloves (लौंग) + Black peppercorns (काली मिर्च) and fried it for 1 minute. After you add remaining Chopped Onions (कटी प्याज) and cooked it until it turn to golden brown in color. (तेल + दालचीनी + लौंग + काली मिर्च + कटी प्याज को फ्राई करे)

-> Now you add Fresh green peas (ताजा हरी मटर) + Masala Paste (मसाला पेस्ट) and cooked it until Oil (तेल) separates. (इसमें ताजा हरी मटर + मसाला पेस्ट मिला कर तेल अलग होने तक पकाये)

-> Now you add Rice (चावल) + Turmeric powder (हल्दी पाउडर) + Red chili powder (लाल मिर्च पाउडर) and mixed very well and cooked it for 3 minute. After you add 3 cup water + Grated Jaggery (कसा हुआ गुड़) + Salt (नमक) and mixed very well. (इसमें चावल + हल्दी पाउडर + लाल मिर्च पाउडर + कसा हुआ गुड़ + नमक + पानी मिला कर पकाये)

-> Covered it by the lid and cooked it until 1/3 part of Rice (चावल) is cooked. After you add Ghee (घी) and cooked the Rice (चावल) completely. (चावल ढक कर पकाये फिर इसमें घी मिलाये)

-> Green Pea Masala Pulao (हरी मटर का मसाला पुलाव) is ready. Served it hot with Tomato Sauce (टमाटर सॉस) (गरम गरम टमाटर सॉस के साथ परोसे)
