Jackfruit Bharta

 (कटहल का भुर्ता)

Ingredients (सामग्री)

Jackfruit (कटहल) ---------- 500 gms

Coriander Powder (धनियां पाउडर) ---------- 1 spoon

Grated Ginger (कद्दूकस किया अदरक) ---------- 2 spoon

Green Chili (हरी मिर्च) ---------- 2-3

Mustard Seeds (राई) ---------- 1/2 spoon

Asafoetida (हींग) ---------- 2 pinch

Turmeric Powder (हल्दी पाउडर) ---------- 1/4 spoon

Coriander Powder (धनियां पाउडर) ---------- 1 spoon

Salt (नमक) ---------- To taste

Red Chili Powder (लाल मिर्च पाउडर) ---------- 1/4 smallspoon

Garam Masala (गरम मसाला) ---------- 1/4 smallspoon

Oil (तेल) ---------- 3 tablespoon

Cumin (जीरा) ---------- 1/2 smallspoon

Chopped Green Coriander (कटा हरा धनियां) ---------- 2 tablespoon

Tomatoes (टमाटर) ---------- 4

How to make Jackfruit Bharta (कटहल का भुर्ता बनाने की विधि)

-> First washed the Jackfruit (कटहल) with clean water (पानी) . Before cut the Jackfruit (कटहल) first you put the Oil (तेल) in your hand. (कटहल धो ले और काटने से पहले हाथो पर थोडा सा तेल लगा ले)

-> Now take 1/2 cup water (पानी) + 1/4 spoon Salt (नमक) + 1/4 spoon Turmeric Powder (हल्दी पाउडर) + pieces of Jackfruit (कटहल के टुकड़े) in a pressure cooker. Boiled the Jackfruit (कटहल). (कटहल के टुकड़े + पानी  + नमक + हल्दी पाउडर को प्रेशर कुकर में उबाल लो)

-> When cooker gives the 1 Whistle (सीटी) then slow the gas flame and boiled the Jackfruit (कटहल) for 2 minute more and after off the gas. When it cool the filtrate it. (ठंडा होने पर छान ले)

-> Now cuts the Tomatoes (टमाटर) + Green Chili (हरी मिर्च) and grated the ginger. (टमाटर-हरी मिर्च धो कर काट ले और अदरक को छिल कर कद्दूकस कर ले)

-> Heat the 3 tablespoon Oil (तेल) in a fry pan. When Oil (तेल) became heat then add Cumin (जीरा) + Asafoetida (हींग) and fried it. After you fried Mustard Seeds (राई). You also add Turmeric Powder (हल्दी पाउडर) + Coriander Powder (धनियां पाउडर) + Green Chili (हरी मिर्च) + Grated Ginger (कद्दूकस किया अदरक) and cooked it for 2 minute. (तेल + जीरा + हींग + राई + हल्दी पाउडर + धनियां पाउडर + हरी मिर्च + अदरक फ़्राइ करे)

-> Now you add Tomatoes (टमाटर) + Red Chili Powder (लाल मिर्च पाउडर) + Salt (नमक) and cooked it 2-3 minute. (इसमे  टमाटर + लाल मिर्च पाउडर  + नमक मिलाये)

-> Now you add boiled Jackfruit (उबला हुआ कटहल) + Garam Masala (गरम मसाला) and covered this sabzi with lid (ढक्कन) and cooked it for 2-3 minute on medium flame gas. Now off the gas and add Chopped Green Coriander (कटा हरा धनियां).(उबला हुआ कटहल + गरम मसाला मिला कर ढककर धीमी आंच पर पकाये)

-> Your Jackfruit Bharta (कटहल का भुर्ता ) is ready.
