About Jantar Mantar
Maharajah Jai Singh II was bulit Jantar Mantar and he ruler between 1727 and 1734. He took nearly seven years to finish the Jantar Mantar. In year 1901 it was restored and in year 1948 it was declared a national monument for famous observatory

Jantar Mantar consists of multiple structures of large geometric forms. So that it caught the attention of artists, architects and art historographers throughout the world.
Description of Jantar Mantar
In Jantar Mantar observatory, consists of 14 different instruments of various geometrical forms such as predicting eclipses, time, tracking stars' location as the earth orbits around the sun. These instruments are of gargantuan sizes so that accurate readings can be obtained. These instruments are made out of stone and marble and at first sight appear like a giant set of art deco sculptures.
