This temple is located near in village named Kottukkal, near Anchal, Kollam district, Kerala, India. Kottukal Rock Cut Cave Temple has 2 caves of unequal size, both facing the east with the sculpture of main deity Ganapathy in between. One cave is small and it has an idol of Hanuman. Other large cave has the monolithic Nandi (bull). In this temple you also see he Shiva Ling that is the form of Lord Shiva. The appearance of this temple is like sleeping elephant.
