लौकी का हलवा

Ingredients (सामग्री)

Gourd (लौकी) ---------- 1 Kg

Mawa (मावा) ---------- 200 gms or 1 cup

Sugar (चीनी) ---------- 300 gms or 1-1/2 cup

Raisins (किशमिश) ---------- 15-20

Chopped Pistachios (बारीक कटे हुए पिस्ते) ---------- 10-12

Small Cardamom Powder (छोटी इलायची पाउडर) ---------- 4

Desi Ghee (देशी घी) ---------- 50 gms or 2 tablespoon

Cashewnut (काजू) ---------- 5 gms

How to make Lauki ka halwa (लौकी का हलवा बनाने की विधि)

-> First washed the Gourd (लौकी) and peel it. To leave the seed part of the Gourd (लौकी), grated whole Gourd (लौकी). (लौकी को धो कर छिले और कद्दुकस करे)

-> Put the Cauldron (कडाही) on the gas. Now add Gourd (लौकी) and cooked it for 5 minute. After you add Sugar (चीनी) and cooked it on high flame gas on 6-7 minute. After slow the gas flame and cooked it until the water of Gourd (लौकी) is dry up. (लौकी + चीनी मिला कर पकाये)

-> Now add Desi Ghee (देशी घी) + Mawa (मावा) + Raisins (किशमिश) + Cashewnut (काजू) and mixed very well and cooked it for 6-7 minute. (देशी घी + मावा + किशमिश + काजू मिला कर पकाये)

-> Now off the gas and add Small Cardamom Powder (छोटी इलायची पाउडर). (छोटी इलायची पाउडर मिला कर गैस बंद करे)

-> Hot - Hot Lauki ka halwa (लौकी का हलवा) is ready. Garnished it with Chopped Pistachios (बारीक कटे हुए पिस्ते) + Cashewnut (काजू). You can also store this halwa for 4-5 days. (पिस्ते-काजू मिला कर सजाये)
