Makhani Chicken

मखानी चिकन

Ingredients (सामग्री)

Boneless chicken breasts cut into bite size pieces  (हड्डी रहित चिकन और टुकड़ों में कटा हुआ) ---------- 6 lbs

Finely chopped onion (बारीक़ कटी प्याज) ---------- 3 large in sized

Black peppercorns (काली मिर्च) ---------- 6

Cinnamon (दालचीनी) ---------- 2 stick

Cardamom (इलायची) ---------- 4

Bay leaves (कड़ी पत्ता) ---------- 2

Finely Chopped garlic (बारीक कटी हुई लहसुन) ---------- 1 smallspoon

Finely Chopped ginger (बारीक कटी हुई अदरक) ---------- 1 smallspoon

Oil (तेल) ---------- 5 smallspoon

Garam masala (गरम मसाला) ---------- 1 tablespoon

Turmeric powder (हल्दी पाउडर) ---------- 1 1/2 smallspoon

Whole dry red peppers (पूरी सूखी लाल मिर्च) ---------- 2 

Cumin seeds (जीरा) ---------- 2 smallspoon

Coriander powder (धनिया पाउडर) ---------- 3 smallspoon

Yogurt (दही) ---------- 1 Cup

Water (पानी) ---------- 1 Cup

Chopped tomatoes (कटा हुआ टमाटर) ---------- 3 

Crushed cashews (पीसे काजू) ---------- 6 

Crushed almonds (पीसे बादाम) ---------- 6 

Coriander leaves (हरी धनिया पत्ते) ---------- 2 tablespoon

Salt (नमक) ---------- To taste

Butter (मक्खन) ---------- 2 tablespoon

How to make Makhani Chicken (मखानी चिकन बनाने की विधि)

-> First heat the Oil (तेल) in a frying pan or kadhai. When Oil (तेल) became hot then add Finely chopped onion (बारीक़ कटी प्याज) + Black peppercorns (काली मिर्च) + Cinnamon (दालचीनी) +  Cardamom (इलायची) + Bay leaves (कड़ी पत्ता) +  Finely Chopped garlic (बारीक कटी हुई लहसुन) + Finely Chopped ginger (बारीक कटी हुई अदरक) and fried it until onion (प्याज) turn to golden brown in color. (तेल + बारीक़ कटी प्याज  + काली मिर्च + दालचीनी + इलायची + कड़ी पत्ता  + बारीक कटी हुई लहसुन + बारीक कटी हुई अदरक को फ्राई करे)

-> Now you add Garam masala (गरम मसाला) + Turmeric powder (हल्दी पाउडर) + Cumin seeds (जीरा) + Coriander powder (धनिया पाउडर) and mixed it and cooked it for 2 minute. (अब इसमें गरम मसाला + हल्दी पाउडर + जीरा + धनिया पाउडर मिला कर पका ले)

-> After you add Chopped tomatoes (कटा हुआ टमाटर) and cooked it until tomatoes (टमाटर) became soft. (इसमें कटा हुआ टमाटर मिला कर पका ले)

-> now you add Yogurt (दही) and cooked it on medium flame gas for 3 minute. After you add Crushed cashews (पीसे काजू) + Crushed almonds (पीसे बादाम) and cooked this mixture for 3 minutes more. (अब इसमें दही + पीसे काजू + पीसे बादाम मिला दे)

-> Now take a pressure cooker and add Chicken pieces (चिकन के टुकड़े) + add the above curry (करी) + Water (पानी) + Salt (नमक) and cook in the pressure cooker for 20 mins. (चिकन के टुकड़े + करी + पानी + नमक को प्रेशर कुकर में पका ले)

-> When the pressure of the cooker it remove then you add 2 tablespoon butter (मक्खन) into cooked chicken and mix well. (प्रेशर ख़त्म होने पर इसमें मक्खन मिला दे)

-> Tasty Makhani Chicken (मखानी चिकन ) is ready. Garnished it with Coriander leaves (हरी धनिया पत्ते) and served it with garlic naan (लहसुन बाली नान), roti (रोटी), Paratha (पराठा). (हरी धनिया पत्ते से सजाये और लहसुन बाली नान + रोटी + पराठा से परोसे)
