Matar Paneer Recipe (मटर पनीर व्यंजन)

Ingredients (सामग्री):

Cheese or Paneer (पनीर) ---------- 250 gms

Green peas (छिले मटर के दाने ---------- 1 cups

Chopped onions ( कटी प्याज)  ---------- 2 chopped finely

Crushed Garlic (लहसुन)  ---------- 6 

Grated ginger (अदरक ) ---------- 1 tsp

Chopped Green chilies (कटी हरी मिर्च)  ---------- 2

Chopped tomatoes (कटा टमाटर)  ---------- 1 cup

Salt (नमक) ---------- to taste

Curd / plain yogurt (दही)  ---------- 1cup 

Turmeric powder (हल्दी पाउडर) ---------- 1 tsp

Cumin seeds (जीरा बीज)  ---------- 1/2 tbsp

Coriander powder (धनिया पाउडर) ---------- 1 tbsp 

Water (पानी) ---------- 2 Cup

Ghee or oil ( घी ,तेल )  ---------- 1/2 cup

Garam masala (गरम मसाला) ---------- 1/4 tsp

Finely chopped Coriander leaves (धनिया पत्ते)  ---------- 1/2 tbsp 

How to make Matar Paneer (मटर पनीर बनाने की विधि)

-> First make a paste tomato (टमाटर) + Green chilies (हरी मिर्च) + Ginger(अदरक) + Garlic (लहसुन). After add Curd / plain yogurt (दही) in this paste. (टमाटर  + हरी मिर्च + अदरक + दही मिला कर पीसे)

-> Now Boil the Green peas (मटर के दाने) and cut the Cheese or Paneer (पनीर) in cubes. Heat the ghee (घी) in a frying pan and cut the paneer into 2.5-cm/1-inch cubes. Fry the paneer to a light brown and remove to drain (निकालना) on a plate. (मटर के दाने उबाले और पनीर काट ले, घी  +  पनीर फ्राई करे)

-> Now heat the oil (तेल) in a pan and add Cumin seeds (जीरा बीज) + Turmeric powder (हल्दी पाउडर) + Coriander powder (धनिया पाउडर) and fry it for 3-4 min. Now add the paste and fry it  until the ghee starts to separate.(तेल + जीरा बीज + हल्दी पाउडर + धनिया पाउडर + टमाटर-हरी मिर्च-लहसुन-अदरक पेस्ट मिला कर फ्राई करे)

-> After fry the masala you can add water according to your gravy. Now add the boil Green peas (मटर के दाने) + Salt (नमक) + Cheese or Paneer (पनीर) and cook it 3 - 4 min. Now Add the Garam masala (गरम मसाला) (मटर के दाने + नमक + पनीर पानी मिला कर पकाये)

-> Matar Paneer (मटर पनीर) is ready. For Garnish it with fresh coriander leaves(हरे धनिये) and sprinkled Garam masala (गरम मसाला). And Serve it with hot nan or paranthas.


Boil --- उबालना

Drain ----- निकालना

Garnish ----- सजाना
