Meen Pepper Thokku

मीन मिर्च थोक्कू

Ingredients (सामग्री)


Meen Fish (मीन मछली) ---------- 1/4 Kg

Onion (प्याज) ---------- 4

Tomato (टमाटर) ---------- 2 

Ginger garlic paste (अदरक लहसुन पेस्ट) ---------- 1 smallspoon

Chilli powder (मिर्च पाउडर) ---------- 1 smallspoon

Turmeric powder (हल्दी पाउडर) ---------- 1/2 smallspoon

Tamarind (इमली) ---------- a lemon sized ball

Salt (नमक) ---------- To Taste

Oil (तेल) ---------- as needed


To grind (पीसने के लिए)


Pepper (काली मिर्च) ---------- 1 smallspoon

Bengal gram dal (बंगाल चने की दाल) ---------- 1 smallspoon

Fennel (सौंफ) ---------- 1 smallspoon

Vadagam (वदगम) ---------- 1 smallspoon


How to make Meen Pepper Thokku (मीन मिर्च थोक्कू बनाने की विधि)


-> First soaked the Tamarind (इमली) in a water and prepare thick extract. (इमली को पानी में भिगो कर गाढ़ा एक्सट्रेक्ट बना ले)


-> You cut the Tomato (टमाटर) into big pieces and after you grind it and make a smooth paste. (टमाटर को बड़े टुकड़े में काट कर पीस कर पेस्ट बन ले)


-> You also finely chopped the Onion (प्याज) . (प्याज को बारीक़ काटे)


-> Now heat a little Oil (तेल) in a frying pan. When Oil (तेल) became hot then add Pepper (काली मिर्च) + Fennel (सौंफ) + Bengal gram dal (बंगाल चने की दाल) + Vadagam (वदगम) and fry it for 1 -2 minute. (तेल + काली मिर्च + सौंफ + चने की दाल + वदगम को मिला कर फ्राई करे)


-> After cool this mixture and grind it into grinder and make a smooth paste and keep aside. (इस मिश्रण को ठंडा कर के पीस ले)


->  Heat Oil (तेल) in a pan. When Oil (तेल) became hot then add Onion (प्याज) + ground masala paste (पीसा मसाला पेस्ट) and fried it.  (तेल + प्याज + पीसा मसाला पेस्ट को फ्राई करे)


-> After you add Salt (नमक) + Turmeric powder (हल्दी पाउडर) + Chilli powder (मिर्च पाउडर) and fried it for few seconds. (अब इसमें नमक + हल्दी पाउडर + मिर्च पाउडर को मिलाये)


-> Now you add Tomato paste (टमाटर का पेस्ट) + Ginger garlic paste (अदरक लहसुन पेस्ट) and fry for a few minutes.(टमाटर का पेस्ट + अदरक लहसुन पेस्ट मिला कर फ्राई करे)

 

-> Now you add Tamarind extract (इमली एक्सट्रेक्ट) and mix it and cook it. When the contents start boiling add Meen Fish (मीन मछली) and cook. (अब इसमें इमली एक्सट्रेक्ट मिलाये और पकाये और उबाल आने पर इसमें मीन मछली मिलाये और पकाये)


-> When Meen Fish (मीन मछली) is cooked then off the gas. (जब मीन मछली पक जाये तो गैस बंद कर दे)


-> Meen Pepper Thokku (मीन मिर्च थोक्कू) is ready. Served it with Roti (रोटी), Naan (नान). (रोटी + नान के साथ परोसे)
