मोहन थाल

Ingredients (सामग्री)

Thick gram-flour (मोटा पिसा बेसन) ---------- 100 gms or 1 cup

Milk (दूध) ---------- 2 spoon

Sugar (चीनी) ---------- 100 gms or 1/2 cup

Ghee (घी) ---------- 100 gms or 1/2 cup

Mawa (मावा) ---------- 100 gms or 1/2 cup

Chopped Pistachios (बारीक कटे हुए पिस्ते) ---------- 10 - 15

Small Cardamom (छोटी इलाइची) ---------- 5- 6 

Chopped Cashew nut (बारीक़ कटे काजू) ---------- 10 - 15 

Chopped Almond (बारीक़ कटे बादाम) ---------- 10

How to make Mohan Thal (मोहन थाल बनाने की विधि)


-> First filtrate (छानना) the gram-flour (बेसन) and add 2 spoon Ghee (घी) and mixed very well. (बेसन छाने और घी मिलाये)

-> Now with the help of  Milk (दूध) + water (पानी) make a smooth dough. Keep this dough for 15 minute. (दूध+ बेसन + पानी मिला कर आटा गूथ ले)

-> Now for sweet Syrup take water (पानी)  + Sugar (चीनी) ( ratio is 100 gms Sugar (चीनी) the add 50 gms water (पानी)) and cooked this for 3-4 minute and make a  sweet Syrup. After you add Chopped Cashew nut (बारीक़ कटे काजू) + Chopped Almond (बारीक़ कटे बादाम) + Chopped Pistachios (बारीक कटे हुए पिस्ते)  + Small Cardamom (छोटी इलाइची) and mixed very well. (पानी +  चीनी मिला कर चाशनी बनाये बाद में इसमें बादाम + काजू + पिस्ते + इलाइची पाउडर मिलाये)

-> Now heat the Ghee (घी) in Cauldron (कडाही). When Ghee (घी) became hot then add smooth dough gram-flour (गूथे बेसन) and fried it until it turn to golden brown in color. After you add Mawa (मावा) and again cooked it. (घी + गूथे बेसन + मावा को भुने)

-> When Mawa (मावा) +  smooth dough gram-flour (गूथे बेसन)  turn to golden brown in color then add sweet Syrup and cooked it for 8-9 minute.(मावा + बेसन भुन जाये तो इसमें चाशनी मिला कर पकाए)

-> Now spread the some Ghee (घी) in a plate and you also spread the mixture into this plate. (प्लेट में घी लगा कर फैला दे)

-> Now press the pistachios (पिस्ता) + Cashew nut (काजू) into Burfi (बर्फी ) with the help of Ladle (करछुल). Keep this for 3-4 hours. (पिस्ता + काजू को करछी की सहायता से बर्फी में दबा देते है)

-> Now you cuts its into your Favorite sized. Mohan Thal (मोहन थाल) is ready.
