Oats Moong Toast

^ Preparation Time : 20 Minutes. ^ Cooking Time : 10 to 15 Minutes. ^ Makes 4 toasts (16 Pieces) ^ Soaking Time : 1 to 2 Hours


जई मूंग टोस्ट 

Ingredients (सामग्री)


Split Green Moong Dal (हरी मूंग की दाल) ---------- 1/2 cup

Quick cooking rolled Oats (जल्दी पकने वाली जई) ---------- 1/2 cup

Finely Chopped Green Chillies (बारीक कटी हुई हरी मिर्च) ---------- 2

Chopped Green Coriander (कटा हरा धनिया) ---------- 1 - 1/2 cup

Lemon Juice (नींबू का रस) ---------- 1 - 1/2 smallspoon

Baking Powder (बेकिंग पाउडर) ---------- 1/2 smallspoon

Sugar (चीनी) ---------- 2 pinch

Salt (नमक) ---------- To taste

Whole Wheat Bread Slices ---------- 4

Olive Oil (जैतून का तेल) ---------- 2 tablespoon


How to make Oats Moong Toast (जई मूंग टोस्ट बनाने की विधि)

 

-> First washed the Split Green Moong Dal (हरी मूंग की दाल) with clean water and soaked it into water for 2 hours.(हरी मूंग की दाल को साफ़ कर के पानी में भिगो दे)


-> Now drained the Split Green Moong Dal (हरी मूंग की दाल) and add Quick cooking rolled Oats (जल्दी पकने वाली जई) + Finely Chopped Green Chillies (बारीक कटी हुई हरी मिर्च) + Chopped Green Coriander (कटा हरा धनिया) + Lemon Juice (नींबू का रस)  + Baking Powder (बेकिंग पाउडर) + Sugar (चीनी) + Salt (नमक) and mixed very well. (हरी मूंग की दाल + हरी मूंग की दाल + बारीक कटी हुई हरी मिर्च + कटा हरा धनिया  + नींबू का रस + बेकिंग पाउडर + चीनी + नमक को अच्छी तरह मिला ले)


-> Take all the Ingredients into mixer and grind it and make a smooth paste. (इस मिश्रण को मिक्सी में पीस ले)


-> Taken out this mixture into bowl and divide it into 4 equal portions. (मिश्रण को 4 भागो में बाटे)


-> Now brush the 1/4 smallspoon  Olive Oil (जैतून का तेल) on one side of each bread slice. (ब्रेड के एक तरफ जैतून का तेल लगाये)


-> Now spread the dal and oats mixture (दाल और जई मिश्रण) evenly over it. (इस पर दाल और जई मिश्रण फैला दे)


-> Heat the non-stick tava on gas. Put the toast on the tava and mixture side facing the downwards and cooked it using 1/4 smallspoon Oil (तेल) till mixture is turns to golden brown in color. (मिश्रण लगी साइड को तवे पर रख कर तेल जकी सहायता से सेके)


-> When mixture turns to golden brown in color then turn over the toast and cooked the other side till it turns to golden brown in color. (एक तरफ सिक जाने के बाद दूसरी तरफ सेके)


-> Tasty and full of Nutrition Oats Moong Toast (जई मूंग टोस्ट ) is ready.  Cut each toast into 4 equal triangles and serve immediately.


Nutritional value (पोषण का महत्व) :  Iron : 2.0 mg per Toast (टोस्ट)


Note : Try your hand on these delicious and iron-rich nutritious toast by combining oats and moong with lots of perky coriander. Make sure you make these just before serving to prevent them from turning soggy.
