Omelette Pulikuzhambu

आमलेट पुलिकुज्हम्बू 

Ingredients (सामग्री)


Egg (अंडे) ---------- 4

Onion (प्याज) ---------- 2 

Tomato (टमाटर) ---------- 1

Green chilli (हरी मिर्च) ---------- 2

Tamarind (इमली) ---------- a lemon sized ball

Turmeric powder (हल्दी पाउडर) ---------- 1/4 smallspoon

Chilli powder (मिर्च पाउडर) ---------- 2 smallspoon

Coriander powder (धनिया पाउडर) ---------- 1/2 smallspoon

Fennel (सौंफ) ---------- 1/2 smallspoon

Grated Coconut (कसा हुआ नारियल) ---------- 1/4 cup

Red chilli (लाल मिर्च) ---------- 2

Pepper (काली मिर्च) ---------- 1/2 smallspoon

Cumin (जीरा) ---------- 1 smallspoon

Mustard (सरसों) ---------- 1/2 smallspoon

Urad dal (उरद दाल) ---------- 1/2 smallspoon

Fenugreek seeds (मेथी दाना) ---------- 1/2 smallspoon

Curry leaves (करी पत्ते) ---------- a few

Salt (नमक) ---------- To taste

Oil (तेल) ---------- As required


How to make Omelette Pulikuzhambu (आमलेट पुलिकुज्हम्बू बनाने की विधि)


-> Soak the Tamarind (इमली) in water (पानी) and prepare extract. (इमली को पानी में भिगो कर इसका एक्सट्रेक्ट बना ले)


-> Grind Grated Coconut (कसा हुआ नारियल) +  Fennel (सौंफ) and make a smooth paste. (कसा हुआ नारियल + सौंफ को मिक्सी में पीस कर पेस्ट बना ले)


-> You also grind the Cumin (जीरा) + Red chilli (लाल मिर्च) + Pepper (काली मिर्च) and make a masala paste. (जीरा + लाल मिर्च + काली मिर्च को भी पीस ले)


-> Beat the Egg (अंडे) in a bowl with Salt (नमक) + cumin masala paste (जीरा मसाला पेस्ट). (अंडे को नमक + जीरा मसाला पेस्ट के साथ फेटे)


-> Heat Oil (तेल) in a skillet. Sprinkle Onion (प्याज) and pour the Egg (अंडे) and prepare omelette and set aside. (कड़ाही में अंडे का मिश्रण फैलाये उस के ऊपर प्याज रखे और तेल को चारो तरफ लगाये और आमलेट को दोनों तरफ से सेके)


-> Heat Oil (तेल) in fry pan. When Oil (तेल) became hot then add Mustard (सरसों) + Fenugreek seeds (मेथी दाना) + Urad dal (उरद दाल) + Curry leaves (करी पत्ते) and fried it for 1 minutes.(तेल + सरसों + मेथी दाना + उरद दाल + करी पत्ते को फ्राई करे)


-> Now you add chopped Onion (कटा हुआ प्याज) + Tomato (टमाटर) + Green chilli (हरी मिर्च) and fried it for another 1 minutes more.(अब इसमें कटा हुआ प्याज + टमाटर + हरी मिर्च को मिलाये और फ्राई करे)


-> Now add Chilli powder (मिर्च पाउडर) + Coriander powder (धनिया पाउडर) + Turmeric powder (हल्दी पाउडर) and fry for sometime. (अब इसमें मिर्च पाउडर + धनिया पाउडर + हल्दी पाउडर मिलाये)


-> Now add tamarind extract (इमली एक्सट्रेक्ट) + coconut paste (नारियल का पेस्ट) and cook. (बाद में इसमें इमली एक्सट्रेक्ट + इमली एक्सट्रेक्ट मिला कर पकाये)


-> When mixture have boiled well and oil leaves the contents, cut omelette (आमलेट) into pieces, add to the kuzhambu (कुज्हम्बू) and off the gas. (जब मिश्रण उबलने लगे तो इसमें आमलेट को काट के मिलाये)


-> Omelette Pulikuzhambu (आमलेट पुलिकुज्हम्बू) is ready.
