Palak Kofta Kadhi Recipe (पालक कोफ्ता कढ़ी व्यंजन )

For the palak koftas 

 

Ingredients ( सामग्री):

 

 

Spinach leaves (पालक के पत्ते) drained and chopped (सूखा और कटा हुआ) ----------- 1 cup

Gram flour (बेसन) ----------- 1/4 Cup

Red Chilli powder(लाल मिर्च पाउडर) ----------- 1/2 tbsp

Cumin seeds (जीरा) ----------- 1/2 tbsp

Coriander Powder   (धनिया पाउडर) ----------- 1/2 tbsp

Salt (नमक) ----------- to taste

Oil (तेल) for deep frying

 

For the kadhi  

 

Ingredients ( सामग्री):

 

 

 

Curd (दही) ----------- 1 cup

Gram flour (बेसन) ----------- 3 tbsp

Cumin seed  (जीरा बीज) ----------- 1 tbsp

Asafoetida (हींग) ----------- a pinch (एक चुटकी)

Curry leaves (करी पत्ते) ----------- 4-5

Chopped onions (कटी प्याज) ----------- 1

Chopped  cloves garlic(कटे लौंग लहसुन) ----------- 2

Turmeric Powder  ( हल्दी पाउडर) ----------- 1/2 tbsp

Salt (नमक) ----------- to taste

Oil (तेल) ----------- 1 tbsp

 

How to make palak koftas  (पालक कोफ्ता बनाने की विधि) :

 

-> Mixed the spinach leaves (पालक के पत्ते) + Gram flour (बेसन) + Red Chilli powder(लाल मिर्च पाउडर) + Cumin seeds (जीरा) + Coriander Powder   (धनिया पाउडर) +Salt (नमक) in a bowl get a soft dough. (पालक के पत्ते + बेसन + लाल मिर्च पाउडर + जीरा + धनिया पाउडर + नमक मिलाओ, कोफ्ते का मिश्रण तैयार है)

 

-> Now make a small balls like lemon in size. (आटे की छोटी गेंदे बनाये)

 

-> Heat the Oil (तेल) in kadai (कढाई) and deep fry the koftas. (गरम तेल मे कोफ्ते तले)

 

-> Remove the oil and drain it and Keep aside. Koftas is ready. (तेल से निकाले और अलग रखे)

 

How to make kadhi (कढ़ी बनाने की विधि) :

 

-> Mixed Curd (दही) + Gram flour (बेसन) in a bowl and keep aside. (दही + बेसन मिलाओ)

 

-> Heat the Oil (तेल) in kadai (कढाई) and fry the Cumin seed (जीरा बीज). When they crackle add asafoetida (हींग) + curry leaves (करी पत्ते) + chopped onions (कटी प्याज) + Chopped cloves garlic(कटे लौंग लहसुन) and fry it 4-5 minutes. (तेल + जीरा बीज + हींग + करी पत्ते + कटी प्याज + कटे लौंग लहसुन फ़्राइ करे)

 

-> Add mixture of Curd (दही) + Gram flour (बेसन) and turmeric Powder  (हल्दी पाउडर) + Salt (नमक) and add water and bring to a boil. (इसमे दही मिश्रण + हल्दी पाउडर + नमक + पानी मिलाकर पकाओ)

 

-> When kadhi is cooked then add palak koftas and simmer for 4 to 5 minutes. (कढ़ी मे पालक कोफ्ता मिलाओ)

 

-> Palak Kofta Kadhi (पालक कोफ्ता कढ़ी) is ready. Served it with Hot Rice (गरम चावल). (गरम चावल के साथ परोसे)

(तली हुयी कुरकुरी अरबी)

Ingredients (सामग्री)

Colocasia (अरबी) ---------- 500 gms

Carom Seeds (अजवायन) ---------- 1 small spoon
