Parassinikkadavu Snake Park is the houses a large diversity of snakes and many other smaller animals such as the King Cobra, Spectacled Cobra, Kraits, Russell's viper and various pit vipers. In this park you see the large collection of non-venomous snakes including pythons. There are more than 150 varieties of snakes that includes spectacled cobra, Russel Viper, King cobra, Krait and Pit Viper. The Snake Park is the only one of its kind in the State and perhaps the whole of India. It is a subsidiary unit of the Pappinisseri Vishachikitsa Society.
Main aim to establish this park is preserved and conservation of snakes. Visha Chikitsa Kendra was set up this park at Pappiniseri. In this park the victims of snake bite , are treatment to both Ayurveda and Modern Medicines are effectively combined
Main attraction of this Park is a live show. In live show trained team play and 'interact' with a variety of snakes, including cobras and vipers, and try to subdue fictional fears and superstitions about snakes. .
