Parsi fish curry

पारसी मछली करी

Ingredients (सामग्री)

Pomfret Fish (पॉम्फ्रेट मछली) ---------- 1 kg

Lime juice (नीबू का रस) ---------- 3 smallspoon

Onion (प्याज) ---------- 2

Tomato (टमाटर) ---------- 2

Tamarind extract (इमली एक्सट्रेक्ट)  ---------- 1/4 cup

Ginger (अदरक) ---------- a small piece

Garlic (लहसुन) ---------- 3 pods

Turmeric powder (हल्दी पाउडर) ---------- 1 smallspoon

Cumin (जीरा) ---------- 3 smallspoon

Coriander seeds (धनिया बीज) ---------- 4 smallspoon

Cardamom (इलायची) ---------- 2

Grated Coconut (कसा हुआ नारियल) ---------- 1/4 cup 

Coconut milk (नारियल का दूध) ---------- 250 ml

Salt (नमक) ---------- To taste

Oil (तेल) ---------- For requirement

How to make Parsi fish curry (पारसी मछली करी बनाने की विधि)


-> First Rub the Pomfret Fish (पॉम्फ्रेट मछली) with Salt (नमक) + Lime juice (नीबू का रस) and set aside for half an hour. (पॉम्फ्रेट मछली पर नमक + नीबू का रस रगड़ कर अलग रखे)

-> Now you finely cut the Onion (प्याज), Tomato (टमाटर), Ginger (अदरक), Garlic (लहसुन).

-> Now take the Ginger (अदरक) + Garlic (लहसुन) + Grated Coconut (कसा हुआ नारियल) + Cumin (जीरा) + Coriander seeds (धनिया बीज) + Turmeric powder (हल्दी पाउडर) in a grinder and make a smooth paste. (अदरक + लहसुन + कसा हुआ नारियल + जीरा + धनिया बीज + हल्दी पाउडर को मिक्सी में पीस ले) 

-> Now heat Oil (तेल) in a vessel. When Oil (तेल) became hot then add the Onion (प्याज) and fry it till it turn to golden brown in color. After you add Tomato (टमाटर) +  Turmeric powder (हल्दी पाउडर) and stir well. (तेल + प्याज + टमाटर + हल्दी पाउडर मिला कर फ्राई कर ले)

-> After you add Ginger - Garlic - Coconut paste (अदरक - लहसुन - नारियल का पेस्ट) + Salt (नमक) + water (पानी) mix it and  cook for a few minutes. (अब इसमें अदरक-लहसुन-नारियल का पेस्ट + नमक + पानी मिला कर पका ले)

-> Now you add Coconut milk (नारियल का दूध) and cooked it for few minutes, remove the vessel from the stove. (अब इसमें नारियल का दूध मिलाये और पकाये)

-> Strain the above mixture (ऊपर के मिश्रण) through a muslin cloth.(ऊपर के मिश्रण को छान ले)

-> Heat the liquid with the fish (मछली) and cooked it till fish (मछली) is cooked. Off the gas. (अब छने मिश्रण में मछली डाल कर पकाये)

-> Parsi fish curry (पारसी मछली करी) is ready.
