Potato Spinach Sabzi

 (आलू पालक की सब्जी)

Ingredients (सामग्री)

Spinach (पालक) ---------- 500 gms

Tomatoes (टमाटर) ---------- 2-3

Potato (आलू) ---------- 3-4 medium Sized

Green Chili (हरी मिर्च) ---------- 2-3

Red Chili Powder (लाल मिर्च पाउडर) ---------- less then 1/4 smallspoon (१/४ छोटी चम्मच से कम)

Garam Masala (गरम मसाला) ---------- less then 1/4 smallspoon (१/४ छोटी चम्मच से कम)

Salt (नमक) ---------- to taste

Cumin (जीरा) ---------- 1/4 smallspoon

Turmeric powder (हल्दी पाउडर) ---------- 1/4 smallspoon

Gram Flour (बेसन) ---------- 1 spoon

Cream or Malai (क्रीम या मलाई) ---------- 1 tablespoon

Ginger (अदरक) ---------- 1 inch long pieces (1 इंच लम्बा टुकड़ा)

Oil (तेल) ---------- 2 tablespoon

Asafoetida (हींग) ---------- 1 pinch

How to make Potato Spinach Curry (आलू पालक की सब्जी बनाने की विधि)

-> First remove the Stalk of Spinach (पालक की डंठल) and washed it 2-3 time with clean water and boil the Spinach (पालक). When Spinach (पालक) boiled then off the gas.

-> When Spinach (पालक) became cool then grind it into mixi. (पालक की डंठल तोड कर पालक धोकर उबाल ले और पीस ले)

-> Now peel the Potato (आलू) and roasted it into oven or you can boiled it and roasted it on gas. (आलू उबाल कर भुन ले)

-> Now take Tomatoes (टमाटर) + Green Chili (हरी मिर्च) + Ginger (अदरक) and grind it into mixi and make a smooth paste.  (टमाटर + हरी मिर्च + अदरक पीसे)

-> Now take a fry pan and heat the Oil (तेल). When Oil (तेल) became hot then add Cumin (जीरा) + Asafoetida (हींग) and fried it. (तेल + जीरा  + हींग फ़्राइ करे)

-> Now you add Gram Flour (बेसन) + Turmeric powder (हल्दी पाउडर) and cooked it for 2-3 minute. After you add Tomatoes-Ginger-Green Chili paste (टमाटर-अदरक-मिर्च का पेस्ट) + Cream or Malai (क्रीम या मलाई) and cooked all these masala unitil Oil (तेल) should not be separated by masala.(इसमे बेसन + हल्दी पाउडर + टमाटर-अदरक-मिर्च का पेस्ट  + क्रीम या मलाई मिला कर पकाये)

-> Now you add Spinach paste (पालक पेस्ट) + Roasted Potato (भुना हुआ आलू) + Salt (नमक) + Red Chili Powder (लाल मिर्च पाउडर) + Garam Masala (गरम मसाला) and cooked this sabzi for 4-5 minute. (इसमे पालक पेस्ट + भुना हुआ आलू  + नमक + लाल मिर्च पाउडर  + गरम मसाला मिला कर पकाये)

-> Potato Spinach Curry (आलू पालक की सब्जी) is ready. Served it with Roti (चपाती), Naan (नान) or Rice (चावल)  (चपाती+नान+चावल के साथ परोसे)
