1. Reporting: Finalising & reporting subscriber numbers & revenue product wise on a monthly basis and reporting
key indicative parameters on a daily basis
 
2. Analysis: Analysis of each revenue stream for every line of business & trend analysis to establish reasons for
shifts in the pattern & identification of opportunities, identifying data relationships and dependencies & using
these data relationships to point out the potential for revenue maximisation. Analysing the various roll outs and
expansion activities, tariff plan revisions, etc.
 
3. Budgeting: Prepared the Annual Operating Plan for the year 2008-09 and 09-10: Used appropriate estimation
techniques & performed scenario analysis for development of the budget by setting targets in terms of timelines &
working out the possible impact on revenue from the existing levels
 
4. Forecasting: Developed various models for predicting Minutes Of Usage, estimating revenue, establishing loss
of revenue due to churn, profitability of new customers, calculating access charges, measuring profitability of new
roll outs. Daily trend analysis of Minutes of Usage, subscriber movement & revenue trend of each account
 
5. Automation: Automated the calculation of month end subscriber KPIs separately for customers with & without
broadband, two new trackers to supplement the increased focus on the corporate segment to indicate the
growth/degrowth in the subscriber base, usage of this segment, expected revenue at the start of the month & the
corresponding revenue actually earned out of these customers
 
Role: Revenue Risk Management - Revenue Assurance
1. Tracking & validating the leakage in revenue by Keeping a tab on the waivers passed on a daily basis,
understanding the need for the same & ensuring there are no spikes in the same
 
2. Maintained a monthly tracker on the various possible parameters leading of revenue leakage, valid reasons
among the same & a detailed analysis of the monthly activities & steps taken to reduce the gaps in the processes
 
ii Sales and Marketing
 
1.Met a varied number of retailers as per the area, volume of business, revenue value of business, etc. &
understood the various aspects of business in terms of in-store visibility, pull of the competitors, tariff plans, offers
& promotions, availability of recharge coupons, comfort with e-recharge, area specific issues, etc.
 
2.Suggested ways of pulling & keeping the top retailers loyal to the company by incentivising them not only in
monetary terms but also by giving them special privileges, improving in shop visibility by designing & proper
placement of promotion material, improving logistics,etc.
 
3.Suggested some tariff plans which would be easy to pull customers into the post-paid scheme & certain other
marketing activities

•Times of India has selected our team’s idea (Rebuilding Mumbai – Public Private Partnership) and published the
concept along with my interview and they also suggested the government to implement this idea.

•1st in Electronics in HSC in the college
