Pumpkin Ka Halwa Recipe (कद्दू का हलवा)

Ingredients (सामग्री):

Pumpkin (कद्दू) ---------- 500 gms ग्राम

Ghee (घी) ---------- 2 tablespoon

Sugar (चीनी) ---------- 200 gms ग्राम

Khoya (मावा) ---------- 100 gms (grated Khoya (मावा))

Cashewnuts (काजू) ---------- 12-13 

Raisin (किशमिश) ---------- 15

Cardamom powder (इलायची पाउडर) ---------- 1/2 small spoon

Pistachio (पिस्ता) ---------- 5-6

How to make Pumpkin Ka Halwa (कद्दू का हलवा बनाने की विधि)

-> First peel the Pumpkin (कद्दू) and grated it. (कद्दू छिल कर कद्दूकस कर ले)

-> Now heat the Ghee (घी) in a pan. When Ghee (घी) becomes hot then add the grated  Pumpkin (कद्दू) and roast it on a medium flame. But Stir (चलाना) Pumpkin (कद्दू) on the regular bases.( धीमी आग पर, गरम घी में कद्दू भुन ले )

-> When Pumpkin (कद्दू) became soft then add Sugar (चीनी) and cook it on the maximum flame because by adding Sugar (चीनी) the Pumpkin (कद्दू) juice comes out. Cooked it, when the pumpkin juice is dry. पके कद्दू में चीनी मिला कर पकाये)

-> Now add the grated Khoya (कद्दूकस किया मावा) into roasted Pumpkin (कद्दू). After you add the Cashewnuts (काजू) + Raisin (किशमिश) (मावा + काजू + किशमिश मिलाये )

-> Now cooked the Halwa for 5-6 minute. Off the gas flame and add the Cardamom powder (इलायची पाउडर) in to Halwa. (इलायची पाउडर मिलाये )

-> Pumpkin Ka Halwa Recipe (कद्दू का हलवा) is ready to served. Before served garnished it with Cashewnuts (काजू) + Raisin (किशमिश) (काजू + किशमिश से सजाये)
