Rajma and Spinach Stuffed Roti

^ Preparation Time : 20 Minutes. ^ Cooking Time : 30 Minutes. ^  Makes 4 

 

 

 


राजमा और पालक भरवां की रोटी

 

 

 

Ingredients (सामग्री)

 

 

Boiled Kidney Beans (उबला हुआ राजमा) ---------- 3/4 Cup

Finely Chopped Spinach (बारीक कटी पालक) ---------- 4 cup

Oil (तेल) ---------- 2 tablespoon  

Cumin Seeds (जीरा) ---------- 1/2 smallspoon

Asafoetida (हींग) ---------- 1 pinch

Finely Chopped Onions (बारीक कटी हुई प्याज) ---------- 1 1/4 Cup

Chopped Garlic (कटा हुआ लहसुन) ---------- 1 smallspoon

Ginger-Green Chilli Paste (अदरक-हरी मिर्च का पेस्ट) ---------- 1 smallspoon

Turmeric Powder (हल्दी पाउडर) ---------- 1/2 smallspooon

Red Chilli Powder (लाल मिर्च पाउडर) ---------- 1 smallspoon

Coriander-Cumin seeds Powder (धनिया - जीरा पाउडर) ---------- 1 smallspoon

Chopped Tomatoes (कटा हुआ टमाटर) ---------- 3/4 Cup

Salt (नमक) ---------- To taste

Finely Chopped Coriander (बारीक कटी हुई धनिया) ---------- 2 tablespoon

Wheat Flour (गेहूं का आटा) ---------- 3 cup

 


 

 

How to make Rajma and Spinach Stuffed Roti (राजमा और पालक भरवां की रोटी बनाने की विधि)

 

 

-> First filtrate (छानना) the Wheat flour (गेहूं का आटा) in a plate. Now you add Salt (नमक) and mixed very well. Now with the help of Lukewarm water (गुनगुना पानी) make a smooth dough.(आटे को छाने और नमक मिला कर गुनगुना पानी की सहायता से नरम गूथ ले)

 

-> Now heat the Oil (तेल) in a non-stick pan. When Oil (तेल) became hot then add Cumin Seeds (जीरा) and fried it for 30 second. (तेल + जीरा फ्राई करे)

 

-> Now you add Asafoetida (हींग) + Finely Chopped Onions (बारीक कटी हुई प्याज) and fried it until Onions (प्याज) turn to golden brown in color. (इसमें हींग + बारीक कटी हुई प्याज को फ्राई करे)

 

-> Now you add Chopped Garlic (कटा हुआ लहसुन) + Ginger-Green Chilli Paste (अदरक-हरी मिर्च का पेस्ट) + Turmeric Powder (हल्दी पाउडर) +  Coriander-Cumin seeds Powder (धनिया - जीरा पाउडर) + Chopped Tomatoes (कटा हुआ टमाटर) and mixed very well and cooked it for  5 - 6 minute. (इसमें कटा हुआ लहसुन + अदरक-हरी मिर्च का पेस्ट + हल्दी पाउडर + धनिया - जीरा पाउडर + कटा हुआ टमाटर मिला कर पकाये)

 

-> Now you add Boiled Kidney Beans (उबला हुआ राजमा) + Salt (नमक), mix well and cook on medium flame for 5 to 7 minutes. With the help of tablespoon break the Boiled Kidney Beans (उबला हुआ राजमा) .(अब इसमें उबला हुआ राजमा + नमक मिलाये और चमचे से राजमा को बारीक़ तोड़ ले)

 

-> Now you add Finely Chopped Spinach (बारीक कटी पालक) + Finely Chopped Coriander (बारीक कटी हुई धनिया) mix very well. and cook on a medium flame for another 5 minutes, stirring once between. (इसमें बारीक कटी पालक + बारीक कटी हुई धनिया मिलाये और पकाये)

 

-> Rajma stuffing is ready.

 

-> Now Divide the dough into equal portions and shape into round small balls. (आटे की छोटी गेंदे बनाये)

 

-> Now take 1 ball and put some oil is in center of balls and put some Rajma (राजमा ) stuffing items and cover the mixture with the roti. (आटे की छोटी गेंदे बना कर बेले और राजमा की पिठ्ठी बीच मे रखे और परांठे को चारो तरफ से बंद कर दे और बेलन से बेले)

 

-> Now roll it slightly and make size just like a roti and on tava cook the roti  on both the sides with the some oil. And cook them until roti became golden brown. थोडा सा तेल लगा कर पराठे को दोनों तरफ से हल्का भूरा होने तक तवे पर सेक ले)

 

-> Hot Rajma and Spinach Stuffed Roti (राजमा और पालक भरवां की रोटी ) is ready and served it with fresh curd (ताजा दही) or sos (सोस). (दही-सोस से परोसे)

 

Nutritional value (पोषण का महत्व) :  Vitamin E : 1.4 mg per Serving

 

Note : This recipe is a complete nutritious meal that provides all the necessary nutrients for a pregnant lady! Rajma and Spinach go well together, as rajma is rich in protein, calcium, fiber, whereas spinach provides lots of vitamin A, E, Folic acid etc.
