About Ram Jhula
Ram Jhula is famous tourist attraction of Rishikesh. In year 1980s, Ram Jhula was built cross the river Ganga. It is famous landmark of Rishikesh. This bridge is bigger than Lakshman jhula and design of Ram Jhula is similar to Lakshman Jhula. Most known is Geeta Bhavan & Swarg Ashram is also visited through this bridge. This bridge constructed with the span of 450 feet (140 m) and above 59 feet (18 m) from summer water level. Ram Jhula and Lakshman Jhula are pedestrian-only bridges and are used to cross the River Ganga.
