Red Pumpkin Poori

कद्दू की पूरी

Ingredients (सामग्री)


Ripe Pumpkin (पका कद्दू) ---------- 500 gms or 3 cup grated Ripe Pumpkin (कद्दूकस किया कद्दू) 

Wheat flour (गेहूं का आटा) ---------- 350 gms or 3 cup

Parsley (अजवायन) ---------- 1/2 small spoon

Gram-Flour (बेसन) ---------- 75 gms

Oil (तेल) ---------- For fried

Salt (नमक) ---------- To taste


How to make Red Pumpkin Poori (कद्दू की पूरी बनाने की विधि)


-> First peel the Ripe Pumpkin (पका कद्दू) and remove the seeds (बीज) and grated the Ripe Pumpkin (पका कद्दू). (पके कद्दू को छिले और उसके बीज निकाल कर कद्दुकस कर ले)


-> Now add 1 tablespoon Water (पानी) in grated Ripe Pumpkin (कद्दूकस किया कद्दू) and cooked it on medium flame gas. (कद्दू + पानी मिला कर उबाले)


-> Now filtrate (छानना) the Wheat flour (गेहूं का आटा) and Gram-Flour (बेसन) and mixed very well. After you add Salt (नमक) + Parsley (अजवायन) + Oil (तेल) + Ripe Pumpkin (पका कद्दू) and make a tight daugh like poori. Keep this daugh for 20 - 25 minute. (गेहूं के आटे + बेसन को छाने और इमसे नमक + अजवायन + तेल + पका कद्दू मिला कर नरम आटा गूथ ले)


-> Before to make the poori first put Oil (तेल) on your hands and make a smooth dough thoroughly mashed mashed. (पूरी बनाने से पहेले हाथो पर तेल लगाकर, गुथे आटे को मसल मसल ले)


-> Now Divide the dough into equal portions and shape into round small balls. (आटे की छोटी गेंदे बनाये). 


-> Now roll it slightly and make size just like a puri. Drop the rolled puri in the oil carefully and fried both side. This should take only a few seconds. Flip the poori over and cook the other side until golden brown. (बेलन से पूरी बेले और गरम मे तेल दोनो तरफ से तल ले)


-> Hot and tasty Red Pumpkin Poori (कद्दू की पूरी) is ready. Served it with Sweet Chutney (मीठी चटनी), Pickle. (मीठी चटनी - अचार से परोसे)
