Sarsoon Machhi

सर्सॊन मछी

Ingredients (सामग्री)

Rohu or Hilsa fish (रोहू या हिलसा मछली) ---------- 1/2 Kg (cut into small pieces)

Chopped Green coriander leaves (कटा हरा धनिया पत्ते) ---------- 1/2 tablespoon

Mustard seeds (सरसों के बीज) ---------- 1 smallspoon 

Poppy seeds (खसखस) ---------- 1 smallspoon 

Cumin seeds (जीरा) ---------- 1 smallspoon 

Kashmiri chillies (कश्मीरी मिर्च) ---------- 4-5

Garlic (लहसुन) ---------- 8

Turmeric powder (हल्दी पाउडर) ---------- 1 smallspoon 

Nigella seeds (कलौंजी) ---------- 1/4 smallspoon 

Raw mango (कच्चे आम) ---------- 1 small (cut into pieces or 2 tomatoes)

Chopped green chillies (कटी हुई हरी मिर्च) ---------- 4 

Curry leaves (करी पत्ते) ---------- 2

Salt (नमक) ---------- To taste

Mustard oil (सरसों का तेल) ---------- 4 tablespoon

Garam Masala (गरम मसाला) ---------- 1/2 smallspoon

How to make Sarsoon Machhi (सर्सॊन मछी बनाने की विधि)

-> First clean and wash fish pieces (मछली के टुकड़े) well. (मछली के टुकड़ो को धो कर साफ़ कर ले)

-> Apply 1 smallspoon Turmeric powder (हल्दी पाउडर) + 2 smallspoon Salt (नमक) to the fish (मछली) and keep aside. (नमक) .(मछली के टुकड़ो पर हल्दी पाउडर + नमक लगाये और अलग रखे)

-> Now heat the Mustard oil (सरसों का तेल) in a flat kitchenware. When oil (तेल) became hot then add Nigella seeds (कलौंजी) + Curry leaves (करी पत्ते) and fry it for few second. (तेल + कलौंजी + करी पत्ते को फ्राई करे)

-> Now you add fish pieces (मछली के टुकड़े) and light fry them. (अब इसमें मछली के टुकड़े डाले और फ्राई करे)

-> Now take the Mustard seeds (सरसों के बीज) + Poppy seeds (खसखस) + Cumin seeds (जीरा) + Kashmiri chillies (कश्मीरी मिर्च) + Garlic (लहसुन) + Raw mango (कच्चे आम) + Chopped green chillies (कटी हुई हरी मिर्च) in a grinder and grind it and make a smooth paste. (सरसों के बीज + खसखस + जीरा + कश्मीरी मिर्च + लहसुन + कच्चे आम + कटी हुई हरी मिर्च को मिक्सी में पीस ले)

-> Now add this masala paste into flat kitchenware and fry it for 2 minute. Add 2 cups of water (पानी) for the gravy and stir well. (इस मसाला पेस्ट + पानी को मछली के टुकड़े में डाले और पकाये)

-> Now you add Garam Masala (गरम मसाला) + Salt (नमक) and mix it. Simmer till the gravy becomes thick. (गरम मसाला + नमक मिलाये और चलाते हुए पकाये)

-> Sarsoon Machhi (सर्सॊन मछी) is ready. Garnished it with Chopped Green coriander leaves (कटा हरा धनिया पत्ते). (धनिया पत्ते से सजाये)
