Consultant Pre-Sales 

Part of the System Integration team for Wipro Infotech, responsible for providing Consultancy and Pre-Sales services  

  • Advisory Services -
    • Coordinate all Integrated Building Management System projects across all LOBs in India and Middle-East working with minimal supervision
    • Interface with remote clients and suppliers for supply, system prototyping and testing, installation and commissioning of various BMS products
    • Identify and prioritize opportunities in Network (Voice, Data and Video), Datacenters and System Integration domain and engage in consultative solution selling
    • Plan and facilitate negotiations to reach agreements and commitments
    • Organizing customer workshops to drive partners & customers to clearly understand the role, scope and future of Building Management Systems
    • Oversee the complete sales cycle including scope and design phases and implementation.
  • Proposal Management - Research, organize, write and edit proposals in response to client-generated RFPs
    • Taking a lead role in preparing responses to various RFPs in the Infrastructure and SEZ domain
    • Ensuring client deadlines are met with high quality deliverables, coordinating / executing the solution design
    • Establishing technical relationship with key architects (both System Integration architects as well as Partner/Customer architects, including leading System Integration consultants around the world).  
    • Work with partners and implementation teams to ensure they are well positioned to deploy in time with quality.
    • Reviews with other team members to ensure cross-business units functionality of the new deliverables

IBM India Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore/Gurgaon, India                                                                                            June 2006 – January 2008 

Pre-Sales Consultant

Part of the Client Engagement Team for IBM – Bharti (Airtel) Strategic Outsourcing Account, responsible for total customer relationship management with Bharti account. Bharti is an IBM Strategic Outsourcing Client in an innovative revenue sharing agreement.  

  • Client Engagement - Integrator of IBM before the client & vice-versa

    • For various out-of-scope deals and change requests for the client, taking a leading role in the bid team to meet client deadlines with high quality deliverables, coordinating / executing the solution design

Business & Operations Analyst

Responsible for business process modeling/business process transformation and providing services in a multi-vendor, multi-protocol complex system environment. 

Work Profile: 

  • Identification of development opportunities by interacting with the business organization representatives, including executive management
  • Analyze process for areas of improvement and addresses the root causes of the current issues and pain points
  • Definition and documentation of business requirements and translating them into functional requirements
  • Capture the redesign requirements to develop the detailed process models in accordance with ITIL frameworks
  • Elaboration, follow-up of project plans, ensuring delivery of projects and managing incidents/escalations
  • Preparing business for change management arising out of transformation 

Key Achievement:

  • Performed the functional and business analysis for the replacement of the Asset Management systems for the Bharti project. Responsibilities included: processes definition, design of a centralized database, definition of the business objects, definition of the budget.
