Sprouted Moong Brown Rice

अंकुरित मूंग ब्राउन राइस

Ingredients (सामग्री) : 

Sprouted Moong (अंकुरित मूंग) ---------- 1/2 cup

Brown basmati rice (ब्राउन बासमती चावल) ---------- 1 cup

Split green gram Dal (धुली मूंग की दाल) ---------- 2 tablespoons

Oil (तेल) ---------- 3 tablespoons

Roughly chopped Onions (प्याज ) ---------- 3 medium in sized

Green chilies (हरी मिर्च) ---------- 4

Cumin seeds (जीरा) ---------- 1 teaspoon

Cloves (लौंग) ---------- 7-8

Bay leaf (बे पत्ती) ---------- 2

Cinnamon (दालचीनी) ---------- 2 one inch sticks

Cauliflower (फूलगोभी) ---------- 5-6 Piecse

French beans (फ्रेंच बीन्स) ---------- 5-6

Carrots (गाजर) ---------- 2 medium

Salt (नमक) ---------- to taste 

Garam masala powder (गरम मसाला पाउडर) ---------- 1/2 teaspoon

Shelled green peas (खोलीदार हरी मटर) ---------- 1/2 cup

How to make Sprouted Moong Brown Rice (अंकुरित मूंग ब्राउन राइस बनाने की विधि)

-> First washed the Brown basmati rice (ब्राउन बासमती चावल) with clean water and soaked it into water for 3 - 4 hours. You also soaked the Split green gram Dal (धुली मूंग की दाल) into water. (ब्राउन बासमती चावल और धुली मूंग की दाल धो कर पानी में भिगो कर रखे)

-> Now heat the Oil (तेल) in a pressure cooker (प्रेशर कुकर). When Oil (तेल) became hot then add Cumin seeds (जीरा) + Cloves (लौंग)+  Bay leaf (बे पत्ती) + Cinnamon (दालचीनी) and fried it for 1-2 minute. (तेल + जीरा + लौंग + बे पत्ती + दालचीनी को प्रेशर कुकर में फ्राई करे)

-> Now you add onion-green chilli mixture (प्याज-हरी मिर्च मिश्रण) and fried it. After you add  Cauliflower (फूलगोभी) + French beans (फ्रेंच बीन्स) + Split green gram Dal (धुली मूंग की दाल) + Carrots (गाजर) and mixed very well and cooked it for 2 minuite. (इसमें प्याज-हरी मिर्च मिश्रण + फूलगोभी + फ्रेंच बीन्स + धुली मूंग की दाल + गाजर मिला कर पका ले)

-> Now you add 3 - 1/2 cup water (पानी) + Brown basmati rice (ब्राउन बासमती चावल) + Salt (नमक) + Garam masala powder (गरम मसाला पाउडर) + Sprouted Moong (अंकुरित मूंग) and mixed well. When the mixture come to a boil then add Shelled green peas (खोलीदार हरी मटर) and mixed it. Covered the cooker by lid. (पानी + ब्राउन बासमती चावल + गरम मसाला पाउडर + अंकुरित मूंग + नमक + हरी मटर मिला कर कुकर का ढक्कन लगा कर पका ले)

-> When cooker get the 3-4 whistles then off the gas. When the pressure of the cooker is removed then open the cooker.(कुकर में 3 -4 सीटी आने पर गैस बंद करे)

-> Tasty Sprouted Moong Brown Rice (अंकुरित मूंग ब्राउन राइस) is ready. Served it with yogurt (दही ) or pickles (अचार) and papads (पापड़). (दही, अचार, पापड़ के साथ परोसे)
