Stuffed Methi Paneer Tikki

^ Preparation Time :10 Minutes. ^ Cooking Time : 15 to 20 Minutes. ^  Makes 10 tikkis.

भरवां मेथी पनीर टिक्की

Ingredients (सामग्री)

Finely Chopped Fenugreek leaves (बारीक कटी मेथी के पत्ते) ---------- 1 1/4 Cup

Gram Flour (बेसन) ---------- 1 Cup

Oil (तेल) ---------- 2 tablespoon

Finely Chopped Green Chillies (बारीक कटी हुई हरी मिर्च) ---------- 2 smallspoon

Turmeric Powder (हल्दी पाउडर) ---------- 1/4 smallspooon

Salt (नमक) ---------- To taste 

Oil (तेल) ---------- 3 smallspoon

For Stuffing (भरवान के लिये)

Grated Cheese (कसा हुआ पनीर) ---------- 3/4 Cup

Finely Chopped Green Chillies (बारीक कटी हुई हरी मिर्च) ---------- 1 smallspoon

Salt (नमक) ---------- To taste 

How to make Stuffed Methi Paneer Tikki (भरवां मेथी पनीर टिक्की बनाने की विधि)

-> First take 1 cup Fenugreek leaves (मेथी के पत्ते) +  Gram Flour (बेसन) + 2 tablespoon Oil (तेल) + Green Chillies (हरी मिर्च) + Turmeric Powder (हल्दी पाउडर) + Salt (नमक) and 1 cup water (पानी) and mixed very well till no lumps remain. (मेथी के पत्ते + बेसन + तेल + हरी मिर्च  + हल्दी पाउडर  + नमक + पानी मिला कर नरम मिश्रण बना ले)

-> Cooked this mixture on a high flame gas for 3 to 4 minute and stirring continuously.(इस मिश्रण को तेज आंच पर पकाये)

-> Now off the gas and allow it to cool completely. (गैस बंद करे और मिश्रण ठंडा करे)

-> Now you add remaining Fenugreek leaves (मेथी के पत्ते) and mix well. (अब इस मिश्रण में बचे मेथी के पत्ते मिलाये)

-> Divide this mixture (मिश्रण) into equal parts and shape each portion into flat round tikki. (मिश्रण को बराबर भग में बाट कर टिक्की का आकार बना ले)

-> Now You take the Grated Cheese (कसा हुआ पनीर) + Green Chillies (हरी मिर्च) + Salt (नमक) and mixed very well. This stuffing is ready. (कसा हुआ पनीर + हरी मिर्च + नमक  को मिला दे पिट्ठी का मिश्रण तैयार है)

-> Now take one tikki and press in the centre and place 1 spoon Cheese stuffing (पनीर पिट्ठी) in the centre and again shape into flat round like tikki. (एक टिक्की ले और बीच में दबा कर इसमें पनीर पिट्ठी भर कर चारो तरफ दे बंद करे, सारी टिक्की इसी तरह बना ले)

-> Now heat non-stick tava and cook each tikki using 1/4 spoon Oil (तेल) on medium flame gas till they turn to golden brown in color from both sides. (गरम तवे पर तेल की सहायता से टिक्की को दोनो तरफ से सेक ले)

-> Stuffed Methi Paneer Tikki (भरवां मेथी पनीर टिक्की) is ready. Served it with sweet chutney (मीठी चटनी), Mint Chutney (मिंट चटनी) (मीठी चटनी + मिंट चटनी के साथ परोसे)

Nutritional value (पोषण का महत्व) :  Calcium : 54.9 mg per Tikki (टिक्की)

Note : The soft paneer filling adds an interesting twist to these besan - methi tikkis. Fenugreek leaves and paneer both play a role in increasing your calcium intake.
