Tomato Fish curry

टमाटर मछली करी

Ingredients (सामग्री)


Fish Cut into big pieces (बड़े टुकड़ों में काट मछली) ---------- 250 grams

Roughly chopped Tomatoes (मोटा कटा हुआ टमाटर) ---------- 10-12 medium

Oil (तेल) ---------- 9 Tablespoon

Cinnamon (दालचीनी) ---------- 2 one inch stick 

Chopped Ginger (कटा हुआ अदरक) ---------- 2 inch piece

Chopped Garlic (कटा हुआ लहसुन) ---------- 10-12 clove

Finely chopped Fresh coriander stems (कटी ताजे धनिये की डंठल) ---------- 2 Tablespoon

Lemon Juice (नींबू का रस) ---------- 1 smallspoon

Turmeric powder (हल्दी पाउडर) ---------- 1/2 Smallspoon

Red chilli powder (लाल मिर्च पाउडर) ---------- 2 Smallspoon

Coriander powder (धनिया पाउडर) ---------- 1 tablespoon

Salt (नमक) ---------- To taste

Roasted chana dal powder (भुना हुआ चना दाल पाउडर) ---------- 1 tablespoon

Tamarind paste (इमली पेस्ट) ---------- 1 tablespoon

Cumin seeds (जीरा) ---------- 1 Smallspoon

Mustard seeds (सरसों के बीज) ---------- 1 Smallspoon

Broken Dried red chillies (टूटी सूखी लाल मिर्च) ---------- 3-4

Curry leaves (करी पत्ते) ---------- 10-12

Coconut milk (नारियल का दूध) ---------- 1/2 cup

Finely chopped Fresh coriander leaves (बारीक कटा ताजा हरा धनिया) ---------- 2 Tablespoon


How to make Tomato Fish curry (टमाटर मछली करी बनाने की विधि)


-> First heat 2 tablespoon Oil (तेल) in a non stick pan. When Oil (तेल) became hot then add Cinnamon (दालचीनी) + Chopped Ginger (कटा हुआ अदरक) + Chopped Garlic (कटा हुआ लहसुन) and fried it for 2 minute. (तेल + दालचीनी + कटा हुआ अदरक + कटा हुआ लहसुन को फ्राई करे)


-> After add Roughly chopped Tomatoes (मोटा कटा हुआ टमाटर) mix it and cover it by the lid and cook. Now you add Finely chopped Fresh coriander stems (कटी ताजे धनिये की डंठल) and mix it. (मोटा कटा हुआ टमाटर + ताजे धनिये की डंठल डाल कर पका ले)


-> In a bowl take the Fish pieces (मछली के टुकड़े) and add Lemon Juice (नींबू का रस) + Turmeric powder (हल्दी पाउडर) + 1/2 smallspoon Red chilli powder (लाल मिर्च पाउडर) and mix it. Set aside for 30 minutes to marinate. (मछली के टुकड़े + नींबू का रस + हल्दी पाउडर + लाल मिर्च पाउडर को किसी कटोरे में अच्छी तरह मिला ले)


-> Now you add Salt (नमक) + Coriander powder (धनिया पाउडर) + 1 1/2 smallspoon Red chilli powder (लाल मिर्च पाउडर) to the tomato mixture (टमाटर का मिश्रण) and mix well and cook for 1 minute. (नमक + धनिया पाउडर + लाल मिर्च पाउडर + टमाटर का मिश्रण मिला कर पकाये)


-> Now add Roasted chana dal powder (भुना हुआ चना दाल पाउडर) + Tamarind paste (इमली पेस्ट) + 1/2 Cup water (पानी) mix well. Cool this mixture and Transfer this mixture into a mixer jar and grind into a fine paste. Strain. (भुना हुआ चना दाल पाउडर + इमली पेस्ट + पानी मिला कर पकाये और ठंडा कर के मिक्सी में पीस ले)


-> Now heat 2 tablespoon Oil (तेल) in other non stick pan.  When Oil (तेल) became hot then add Cumin seeds (जीरा) + Mustard seeds (सरसों के बीज) and fried it for 30 second. After you add Broken Dried red chillies (टूटी सूखी लाल मिर्च) + Curry leaves (करी पत्ते) + tomato mixture (टमाटर का मिश्रण) + 1 cup water (पानी) + Coconut milk (नारियल का दूध) and mix well. (तेल + जीरा + सरसों के बीज + टूटी सूखी लाल मिर्च + करी पत्ते + टमाटर का मिश्रण + पानी + नारियल का दूध मिला कर पकाये)


-> Now add finely Fresh coriander leaves (ताजा हरा धनिया) and mix. Cover and cook for 2-3 minutes. (अब इसमें ताजा हरा धनिया मिलाये)


-> Heat 5 tablespoon Oil (तेल) in a non stick grill pan, shallow fry the marinated fish (मसालेदार मछली) until it turns to golden brown in color from both sides. (तेल + मसालेदार मछली को फ्राई करे)


-> Now add the fried fish pieces (फ्राइड मछली के टुकड़े) to the tomato mixture (टमाटर का मिश्रण) and mix and bring to a boil. After cooked it on medium flame for 4 - 5 minute. (फ्राइड मछली के टुकड़े को टमाटर के मिश्रण मिला कर पकाए)


-> Tomato Fish curry (टमाटर मछली करी) is ready. Served hot.
