Tomato Methi Rice

^ Preparation Time : 10 Minutes. ^ Cooking Time : 12 to 15 Minutes. ^  Serves 4. 


टमाटर मेथी चावल

Ingredients (सामग्री)


Chopped Tomatoes (कटा हुआ टमाटर) ---------- 1/2 Cup

Finely Chopped Fenugreek leaves (बारीक कटी मेथी के पत्ते) ---------- 3 Cup

Oil (तेल) ---------- 1 tablespoon 

Bay Leaf (तेज पत्ता) ---------- 1

Cloves (लौंग) ---------- 2

Cinnamon (दालचीनी) ---------- 1 inch long pieces

Cardamom (इलायची) ---------- 2

Finely Chopped Green Chillies (बारीक कटी हुई हरी मिर्च) ---------- 1 smallspoon

Onion Paste (प्याज का पेस्ट) ---------- 1/4 Cup

Ginger Garlic Paste (अदरक लहसुन का पेस्ट) ---------- 3 smallspoon

Red Chilli Powder (लाल मिर्च पाउडर) ---------- 1 smallspoon

Turmeric Powder (हल्दी पाउडर) ---------- 1/2 smallspoon

Coriander - Cumin Seed Powder (धनिया - जीरा पाउडर) ---------- 3 smallspoon

Cooked Rice (पके हुये चावल) ---------- 3 cups

Salt (नमक) ---------- To taste 


How to make Tomato Methi Rice (टमाटर मेथी चावल बनाने की विधि)


-> First heat the Oil (तेल) in deep non - stick Pan. When Oil (तेल) became hot then add Bay Leaf (तेज पत्ता) + Cloves (लौंग) + Cinnamon (दालचीनी) + Cardamom (इलायची) + Green Chillies (हरी मिर्च) and fried it on medium flame gas. (तेल + तेज पत्ता + लौंग + दालचीनी + इलायची + हरी मिर्च को फ्राई करे)


-> Now you add Onion Paste (प्याज का पेस्ट) + Ginger Garlic Paste (अदरक लहसुन का पेस्ट) and fried it on medium flame gas until Onion Paste (प्याज का पेस्ट) is turn to golden brown in color. (अब इसमें प्याज का पेस्ट + अदरक लहसुन का पेस्ट मिला कर फ्राई करे)


-> Now you add Red Chilli Powder (लाल मिर्च पाउडर) + Turmeric Powder (हल्दी पाउडर) + Coriander - Cumin Seed Powder (धनिया - जीरा पाउडर) and cooked it for more 30 second. (इसमें लाल मिर्च पाउडर + हल्दी पाउडर + धनिया - जीरा पाउडर + मिला दे)


-> Now you add Chopped Tomatoes (कटा हुआ टमाटर) and cooked on a medium flame gas till the Tomatoes (टमाटर) are cooked, while stirring continuously.(इसमें कटा हुआ टमाटर मिला कर पका ले)


-> Now you add Fenugreek leaves (मेथी के पत्ते), mix very well and cook on a slow flame for 3 to 4 minutes or Fenugreek leaves (मेथी के पत्ते) till cooked. (इसमें मेथी के पत्ते मिलाये और पका ले)


-> At last you add Cooked Rice (पके हुये चावल) + Salt (नमक) and mix gently and cook on a slow flame for another 3 to  4 minutes. (अब इसमें पके हुये चावल + नमक मिला दे और पका ले)


-> Tomato Methi Rice (टमाटर मेथी चावल) is ready.


Nutritional value (पोषण का महत्व) :  Calcium : 418.5 mg per serving


Note : You can't do without enough calcium at this time of your life. One of the great source of calcium - Fenugreek which ensures your baby is born with strong bones.
