Travelling to Europe - Visas
Its depand on the nationality of the passport.Every country in Europe has different entry requirements
Before departure of tour, you are responsible for obtaining all the necessary visas prior. You should check the date of your travel with the validity of your visa/s.
Important Information About Visas
1. Visas can take up to 6 weeks to obtain
2. Visas are your responsibility. Check to ensure the dates are correct.
3. Failure to obtain all the necessary visa could cause you to miss part of your tour and could result in considerable expense and inconvenience to you.
Multiple Entry Visas
On many occasions during our tours you will enter the same country twice. If you require a visa for such a country, you need to stipulate this when you are applying for the visa to ensure that the visa is valid for more than one entry. Generally, we give you advisable to gain multi entry visas.
Schengen Visa covers most of European countries. All Europe countries are not the part of the Schengen Agreement. If you require a Schengen Visa to travel in Europe Multiple entry visas are a must.
Travel Insurance for Europe
We highly recommends having a travel insurance policy that covers:
-> Cancellation and Curtailment
-> Loss of and/or damage to luggage
-> Medical insurance
-> Loss of money (cash), travellers cheques or personal belongings
If you are participating in winter sports than your travel insurance covers this also. If you are bringing along expensive items such as jewelry or photographic equipment, check the value per item is covered by your travel insurance. If the coverage for these items is minimal you may wish to take out extra coverage on these items.
Important Information about Passport :
-> If you have multiple passports, thern you should carry them all with you as in differing circumstances some may be more useful for travel than others.
-> Keep your all important information related to Passport
In case of stolen or loose your passport :
-> If you loose your passport or it has been stolen during your tour (or any time you travel). It is your responsibility to report the loss to the local authorities as well as to the issuing authority of the country who issued you the the passport.
-> If you have copies of your original passport, alternative forms of identification and passport photos, then the process of obtaining a replacement passport may be faster.
-> In foreign countries your passport will need to be valid for 6 months or more upon entering.
