Yogurt Rice

दही चावल

Ingredients (सामग्री)


Rice (चावल) ---------- 1 cup

Water (पानी) ---------- 3 cups

Cold Milk (ठंडा दूध) ---------- 1-1/2 cup

Yogurt (दही) ---------- 1-1/2 cup

Cream (क्रीम) ---------- 2 tablespoon

Salt (नमक) ---------- To taste

Finely chopped Green coriander (कटा हरा धनिया) ----------  4 tablespoon

 

For Tempering (तड़के के लिए)


Oil (तेल) ---------- 1 tablespoon

Mustard Seeds (सरसों के बीज) ---------- 1/2 smallspoon

Channa Dal (चना दाल) ---------- 1 smallspoon

Urad Dal (उड़द की दाल) ---------- 1 smallspoon

Dry Red chili (सूखी लाल मिर्च) ---------- 2

Green Chilly (हरी मिर्च) ---------- 1

Ginger (अदरक) ---------- 1/2 "piece (minced)

Curry Leaves (करी पत्तियां) ---------- 1 


How to make Yogurt Rice (दही चावल बनाने की विधि)


-> Now first washed the Rice (चावल) and add 3 cup Water (पानी) + Salt (नमक) and cooked it into pressure cooker. (चावल + पानी + नमक प्रेशर कुकर में पका लो)


-> When Rice (चावल) is cooked then mashed them very well. (पके चावलों को मैशेड कर लो)


-> Now add the Cold Milk (ठंडा दूध) and keep mixing till all the Cold Milk (ठंडा दूध) gets absorbed by the Rice (चावल). (चावलों + चावलों मिलाओ)


-> When the mixture of Rice (चावल) + Milk (दूध) is hot then wait for it to become luke warm and after you add Yogurt (दही) + Cream (क्रीम) and mixed very well. (इसमें दही + क्रीम मिलाये)


-> Now heat the Oil (तेल) in fry pan. When Oil (तेल) became hot then fried the Mustard Seeds (सरसों के बीज). After you add  Channa Dal (चना दाल) + Urad Dal (उड़द की दाल) and fried it until dal turn to brown in color. (तेल + सरसों के बीज + चना दाल + उड़द की दाल को फ्राई करे)


-> After you add Dry Red chili (सूखी लाल मिर्च) + Green chili (हरी मिर्च) + Ginger (अदरक) + Curry Leaves (करी पत्तियां) and cooked it for 2 minute. (सूखी लाल मिर्च + हरी मिर्च + अदरक + करी पत्तियां मिला कर फ्राई करे)


-> Now spread this Tempering (तड़के) into Yogurt Rice (दही चावल) and add Finely chopped Green coriander (कटा हरा धनिया) (तड़के को दही चावल में मिलाये और हरा धनिया डाले)


-> Delicious Yogurt Rice (दही चावल) is ready. Garnished it with grated carrot or  Green coriander (हरा धनिया)
